Britney Spears continues to inhabit the penthouse with "Make Me..." for a second week, making it her longest stay at #1 on my chart over the one-and-done that "Pretty Girls" accomplished in 2015. Maddie & Tae and Dierks Bentley launch into the Top 5, but nothing new enters the Top 10 this week. Tim McGraw and The Band Perry fly into the Top 20 with their latest singles, holding Josh Turner just outside for another week at #21. Lauren Alaina, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga all jump into the Top 30, while the all-star country collaboration ("Forever Country") and the collaboration between Calvin Harris and Rihanna ("This Is What You Came For") crack the Top 40. In the wake of the Sara Evans concert last weekend, I've decided to extend Sara's last era by charting "Better Off" as the next 'single' from the project after prior #1 hits in "Put My Heart Down" and "Good Love Is Hard to Find" in 2015. Reba McEntire also makes a return to my chart with the Jennifer Nettles-aided "Enough."
