Maren Morris goes 2 for 2 on my chart this week as she follows her #1 smash debut "My Church" from this summer with another chart-topper in "80s Mercedes." This one has had incredible growth for me since it was first released and while I still prefer the lead single by a hair, 'Mercedes' is killing it. Carrie Underwood continues her hot streak of sending everything she touches to the Top 3 as "Dirty Laundry" becomes her sixth in the two year history of my chart. "Vice" finally begins to really lose some ground at last as it tumbles to #5. Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato score Top 10 hits with their latest singles this week, while Martina McBride and Stephanie Quayle break into the Top 20 and Chris Young returns after a brief week's absence. Adele is the sole new entrant to the Top 40 with "Water Under the Bridge" in her fourth week on, while Miranda Lambert moves into the Top 50 with her album's second single as it starts to gain traction. Only one new debut this week comes from Jon Pardi's "Dirt on My Boots," which marks his first-ever appearance on my chart ("Head Over Boots" eventually grew on me, but it too little too late for it to make the chart, though this is not the case for his latest single!).
