Bon Iver marks his first #1 with "8 (circle)" which surges 6-1 off its debut yesterday. "8 (circle)" is the first hit off of "22, a million" which I had listened to back in January. Close behind is "Complètement fou" by Yelle, the title track from her 2014 album which is likely to be sampled in the near future for the r/popheads French Pop rate. It marks a hotshot debut at #2, and will certainly be a contender for tomorrow's #1.
"Broccoli" by D.R.A.M. ft. Lil Yachty moves 4-3 off its debut yesterday, while "New Map" by M83 continues its rise as it moves 5-4. "Paris" by Willy William ft. Cris Cab continues its stay in the top 5 for a 12th day as it drops 3-5. Neil Cicierega's former Top 2 controlling songs, "Wallspin" and "Shit", drop 1-6 and 2-7 respectively. Mobley's "Hound The World" falls 7-8, while Ed Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill" rebounds into the Top 10 11-9. Kanye's former 4-day #1 hit "Gold Digger" with Jamie Foxx drops 8-10.
In the drop-outs, The Chainsmokers' "Paris" ends its 18-day run as it falls from the bottom spot. In spite of not hitting #1, the song did sneak its way into the Top 10 songs of January, clenching onto the #9 spot of the rankings.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's charts!
