Lainey Wilson holds at #1 for a second week with “Dirty Looks,” the fourth single from Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’. The top 3 is stagnant as Old Dominion looks to battle with Hannah Dasher for the top spot next week. “Ghost” is looking quite alive, rising one spot due to Doja Cat’s “Get Into It (Yuh)” going recurrent. The rest of the top 10 does the same. Caitlyn Smith earns her first top 10 single with her collaboration “I Can’t”–this gives Old Dominion two songs in this region of the chart at once.
Below the top 10, The Weeknd’s “Sacrifice” rises two spots but continues to struggle. Chris Young enters the top 20 with “At the End of a Bar,” which is by no means “At the End” of its chart run. Avril Lavigne’s latest single continues to gain momentum as it enters the top 25, while the opposite is occurring with Ed Sheeran’s latest single. “When’s It Gonna Happen” is poised to return Tenille Townes to chart success after the disappointment of her last single.
After two great weeks, Jon Pardi’s lead single “Last Night Lonely” cools off a bit, gaining 3 spots and knocking on the door of the top 30. Midland’s “Sunrise Tells the Story” re-enters The Blend at #39 after peaking at #33 in August of last year.
Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson’s duet “Never Say Never” enters the top 40 but faces competition with Lainey’s current #1 single and her next single “Keeping Bars in Business,” which debuts at #58 this week. Other debuts this week include Tyga & Doja Cat’s “Freaky Deaky” at #46, Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran’s “Bam Bam” at #54, and Hailey Whitters’ “Everything She Ain’t” at #59. The hit from Disney’s Encanto, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” falls off the chart.
