Britney Spears easily holds at Number 1 for a second week

Lenny Kravitz has already had a successful year. His debut single on this list was Fly Away, which become a proper Number 2-hit. The single spent twenty-five weeks on this list and is one the biggest-scoring releases of 1999. Lenny Kravitz now returns with American Woman, landing his second Top 10-single. The single is taken from the “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” soundtrack, which previously spawned the hits Beautiful Stranger by Madonna and Word Up by ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown.
