Luke’s Top Tracks - Taylor Swift makes chart history

After Taylor Swift made huge top 50 success last week, surely you would think she couldn’t do better this week? You’d be wrong! This week, Taylor becomes the first EVER artist to take up the entire top 25; most of the songs being from her latest album “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT”. Starting off our top fifty, we have a brand new #1 - you guessed it - from her latest studio album. “Fortnight”, the lead single featuring Post Malone climbs one place to reach #1 for the first time. Following closely behind is the first #1 single from the album - “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” drops one place this week. And rounding off this week’s top three is a non-mover for “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” following its mammoth climb last week.

Who could claim next week’s #1? Though the top ten seems pretty stable this week, let’s acknowledge some of the big climbers this week. “So High School” and “loml” have vaulted 11 and 16 places to #10 and #11 respectively, “So Long, London” is the highest climber of 21 places this week to #18, and “Down Bad” has climbed an impressive 11 places to #19. With the momentum of these songs, it is possible that “Fortnight” could be getting a run for its money! But let’s not forget the other new entries further down the chart from the likes of Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter which may also climb in the coming weeks!

Damn it really is a full Taylor takeover. Nice to see Espresso debuting on the chart too!
