Chart

RandomGuy Top 40 (31.7.2017.)

What a great week it has been for my chart last week. I'm actually couple of days late for this chart, but well.

We'll start off with the #1 song, 'Despacito'. This is the fourth week for 'Despacito' and the #1 spot but also almost certainly the last. Next week it's not going to lead for sure. The competition is insane right now. I'm very happy about the direction my charts are heading to. This week I had more than enough songs to put up a chart. With its fourth week at the top, 'Despacito' ties 'I Want You To Know' for the second longest reigning #1 of my charts.

Next, French Montana and Swae Lee jump to #8-#2 with their song 'Unforgettable' that was competing very hard for the top spot this week. 'Despacito' got the edge thanks to sick airplay here in Croatia (so even if I didn't want to, I had to listen to it!. But I wanted too :D). It's competing for the top spot.

'It Ain't Me' dropped one position thanks to the gain from 'Unforgettable' but it remains VERY STRONG! Actually, 'It Ain't Me' is growing so much on me lately that I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a run at #1 anytime soon.

'Finesse', as well as many other '24k Magic' tracks, are gaining insanely. I got a simple reasoning behind this too. I've been so hyped and I've waited for third Bruno's album for so long and even though I listened to it a lot I feel like it wasn't enough. Better late than never? :)

'Closer' is still doing 'Closer' things.

And now an interesting debut from familiar faces on my chart. Jala Brat & Buba Corelli have released the newest single 'Ultimatum' and debuts as high as #6. I think it should stay maybe 7-8 weeks then go out pretty quickly just like all of their songs too. There's a reasoning behind that too, and I can explain it if someone will be interested :)

'Something Just Like This' is growing on me again too! 'All We Know' is like a dark horse of my charts. It never peaked higher than #6 but it's been charting for 19 weeks already and it might finish in the Top 10 songs of the year too (Top 15 at worst!). Nothing VERY interesting to say about the next songs, even though I could talk about each one of them a lot xD

Mans Zelmerlow debuts at #25 with his newest single 'Hanging On To Nothing'. It's not even my Top 5 favorite song from Mans, but it's Mans, and the song is good and catchy. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it on my charts.

That's all (not all, but that's all I will tell!) about this week's chart and I hope you guys will enjoy it at least as much as I do, which is a lot! Thank you for coming by and I'll check all yours charts when I wake up!! Love!

Great charts as always RandomGuy!
Sorry I couldn't reply as fast as I could, because I had a new job and less time to respond to other people's charts and making my own charts except for Saturdays and Sundays.
The re-entry are great, the one new entry that I heard: Hanging On To Nothing by Mans Zelmerlow is great, the rest of your chart is also great.
I also made my own chart, as always split in Part 1 and Part 2 of my Top 200.
Check it out if you have the time!

Hey Sergej! Great to see you:) You are actually the first one to comment on this chart, so you aren't late at all! Besides, it's never too late!! I'm very pleased to hear that you like this chart as well as entries and re-entries. What do you think of 'Hanging On To Nothing' then? I'll check your latest chart right now and leave a comment on it. I hope you had a great week!

I said in my comment that 'Hanging On To Nothing' is a good song. :)

Oh, I must've missed that part :D So is it one of your favorite Mans' songs then??

It's in the Top 5. Should've Gone Home is my favourite Mans Zelmerlöw song.

I really love 'Should've Gone Home' as well. It was a #1 on my chart as well. 'Fire In The Rain', 'Heroes' and 'Should've Gone Home' are all tied as my favorite Mans song! I might give an edge to 'Heroes' though since that's the song that made me love Mans :) Is 'Hanging On To Nothing' charting on your chart? If so, how is it doing since I didn't see it last time I checked your chart.

Well, 'Hanging On To Nothing' isn't charting on my chart right now, but it might in the future.
As for my chart, 'New Rules' by Dua Lipa might have the #1 for the 3rd week in a row and probably more weeks, since I love this song, unless a competition comes.

Hey RandomGuy! I love your chart again this week. :)
I like that 'Despacito' is #1 for a fourth week (even though this'll probably be its last); it's now been at the top of your charts longer than it has mine!
I'm also pleased to see 'Unforgettable' continue to climb to #2, as it's really growing on me! I like that 'Finesse' & 'Perm' also make gains in your Top 10 for Bruno.
I definitely think it's good that both 'Bad Things' & '24k Magic' re-entered too!
Well enjoy the rest of your weekend & I'll hopefully see you later.

Hey Piran, it's great to see you. I'm pleased that you love my chart (again) :). Okay,

Hey Piran, it's great to see you. I'm pleased that you love my chart (again) :). Okay, I might have called that too early. 'Despacito' certainly won't be a No.1 on the next chart, but it should stick in Top 3/Top 5 for a while unless something gains like, insanely. So who knows, in a few weeks, 'Despacito' might come back to #1?? So it was leading your chart for three weeks then?? :D I'm actually now tempted to have longer 1's, for 3-4 weeks at least. I'm very happy you like 'Unforgettable' and it's growing on you? So is there a chance we'll see more of it on your charts too? :) Also yes it's awesome that 'Finesse' and 'Perm' are making an impact all Bruno has to do is release a video for any '24k Magic' track and I'm sure it will come on top (unfortunately 'That's What I Like' made it only to #2...). Also it's kinda funny now that Bruno and The Chainsmokers now have 6 out of 10 songs inside my Top 10. I'm sure that's going to change too next week since 'Young' is probably going to enter the Top 10 for first time, and 'Paris' is gaining again as well!

Yeah, 'Despacito' did lead my chart for three weeks, but it spent a total of nine weeks inside the Top 3, so it's currently my third favourite song of 2017 so far (behind 'Shed A Light' & 'Castle On The Hill').
'Unforgettable' has a chance to enter my Bubbling Under chart next week & it might even debut the week after!

Wow, nine weeks inside the Top 3 is pretty cool :) In its 10 weeks run on my chart, Despacito has been charting like this (from first to current week): 13-2-2-6-3-1-4-1-1-1 so it has actually spent seven weeks so far inside the Top 10 and eight inside the Top 5. I think it will beat then your nine-week-inside-the-top3 record :)

You mean seven weeks inside the Top 3, right?
Yeah, it definitely won't be returning to my Top 3 anymore & if it's still leading your chart, there's a good chance that it will pass nine weeks inside that region.
Well my latest chart is up now, so I hope you check it out!

Yeah :) Is the BB200 article up? Are you still there? And of course I'll check your chart, I'll actually do it right now :)

Yeah, the BB200 article is up & I'll be on there for about another hour! :)
