RandomGuy's Music Chart

WELCOME TO MY NEW CHART!!

I've decided to make a brand new chart and start the chart history from scratch. You guys know very well that I've always struggled with continuity, so hopefully having a new chart and starting from zero helps me gain that. I love making charts and seeing your charts! It all makes me happy and excited. All songs, except Eurovision songs, are ineligble to chart on a new Music Chart.

The first chart-topper on Music Chart is 'When You Know What Love Is' by Craig David. He also had a Number one song on my old chart - 'I Know You' ft. Bastille. Speaking of the band Bastille, it has three apperances on this chart thanks to their new album which is very good! 'Those Nights' is probably the only song which will stay on the chart but, if you haven't, definitely check out the new album and make sure you listen to it chronologically!

"I Don't Care' ft. Justin Bieber is this week's runner-up. I'm very hyped about Ed's new album, especially seeing that there is so many very popular artists! The song with Bruno should also be a bang. Ed will probably dominate the chart with his new album.

I hope all of you enjoy this new chart and I'm looking to expand it!

POINTS

My new chart will include a new points system. Each song on the chart starts with 100 points and they gain points depending on how much am I listening them. If a song has more points next week the points will add up!

1. Craig David - When You Know What Love Is = 131 points
2. Ed Sheeran ft. Justin Bieber - I don't Care = 122 points
3. Jax Jones, Martin Solveig, Madison Beer = 113 points
4. Shawn Mendes - If I Can't Have You = 112 points
5. Taylor Swift ft. Brandon Urie - Me! = 112 points
6. Tiesto, Jonas Blue, Rita Ora - Ritual = 111 points
7. Daddy Yankee, Snow - Con Calma = 110 points
8. John Lundvig - Too Late For Love = 108 points
9. Jonas Brothers - Sucker = 108 points
10. Loreen - Euphoria = 108 points

Hey RandomGuy! It's great to see you back to making charts with this new format! :D I don't mind seeing 'When You Know What Love Is' at #1, but I do really like 'I Don't Care' at #2. It's fallen in performance quite quickly for me since I first heard it, debuting at #3 and peaking at #2, but now only at #30 for me, but I still like the track. I like 'Cross Me' much more, though, so it's a shame to not see it on this chart. I'm really liking 'All Day and Night' and 'If I Can't Have You' in the Top 5, though! I like seeing 'SOS', 'Carry On' and 'What I Like About You' on the chart, and I really liked 'Doom Days' as well! The title track and 'Another Place' were my favourite tracks from it, so it's good to see at least one of those on this chart! My favourite song on this entire chart, though, has to be the one at the very bottom - 'Señorita' has quickly become a massive global smash, and for good reason! Personally I prefer 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', but it is my 10th favourite song of all time so that's not really a surprise. 'Señorita' has still made it to #44 on my all-time chart already, though! Anyway, really good to see you back to making charts, and I look forward to the next one, as well as your comment on mine! :D

Hey Gameskiller! It's great to see you too. :) I really like 'I don't Care' as well! If I were here a couple of weeks back, I think it would be the #1 song! Regardless, it performs strong and it will continue to do so. Well, good news for you - 'Cross Me' will be on my next chart! I am very hyped about this album in general. It will have plenty of great tracks and it should dominate my chart! 'All Day and Night' is a great EDM track - Martin Solveig and Jax Jones created an amazing drop that will surely be heard on every Ultra Music Festival from now onwards. 'Carry On' is growing on me so it will be higher next week! Haha, I knew that you guys will love 'Senorita'! I'm not such a big fan of the song like you guys, but it should be on the chart for the next few weeks - very unlikely that it will be near to the top though! I prefer 'If I Can't Have You'. :) Thank you for your comment and I can't wait to see your next chart and comment on it!

Hey RandomGuy!
Welcome back!
I like the new format, maybe I'll start using this too, it certainly looks like you had fun making the chart with this format.
I'm going to say this, looking at your chart, there isn't a single song that I don't like or find just meh. All of them are really good!
My favourite song on your chart now is "Senorita", a really great song by both Shawn & Camila, better than "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in my opinion.
Great chart, can't wait for your next chart, also please check out my chart if you haven't.
Have a great weekend!

Hey Sergej! It's great to see you again. If you like my new format, I can give you more details about how it's done. :) Basically, each song on the chart has 100 points from the beginning, then they gain one point every time I listen to them. This means that I've listened to 'When You Know What Love Is' 31 times last week! If this song has more than 31 plays next week, it will have it's new points added to this week's points tally! Let's say it has 37 plays this week, it would have 168 on my next chart! If a song has less plays, I will just use the number of plays it had during the current week. I see that 'Senorita' is a huge hit for you guys here - to be honest I have expected so! It won't be a hit on my chart, but I'm looking forward to see how strong can it get on other charts. I will check your newest chart! Thanks for your comment mate :)

Hey RandomGuy! I'm really pleased to see you back making new charts again. How have you been since we last spoke anyway?
Your taste continues to be amazing! 'Senorita' is by far my favourite song here, which I think has a very strong chance of becoming Song Of The Summer for me, but I also love: 'All Day & Night', 'If I Can't Have You', 'Me!', 'Con Calma', 'Sucker', 'Euphoria', 'SOS' & 'Arcade'. As for the others, I either like them slightly less than the ones I already mentioned, or haven't heard them!
Hopefully you can check out my new chart soon too.
Really good chart once again. See you soon!

Hi Piran, very happy to speak to you again! I've been decent since we last spoke - I am on a summer break now and after getting few things done, I am completely free to spend my time here - which I am very happy to do! :D Seeing it's chances for becoming Song of the Summer - you probably really love 'Senorita' - as do the other guys here! I'm happy that you like plenty songs on this chart. I'll check your new chart today! Thanks for commenting and I'll see you soon mate!
