Continuing the end-of-year process, Today brings the third of FOUR charts of the year headed your way!

Honestly, I have questions too. As much as I love chart stats, etc. why do my stats on Stats FM differ from Spotify Wrapped? I believe that Stats FM records the songs specifically selected to play rather than simply letting a playlist have it and recording every listen from that (as the play counts are significantly lower) but that's only a theory because it just makes sense looking at it. Anyway, I asked AI to help me out:
Stats.FM is a third-party app that allows you to access detailed listening statistics from your Spotify account, providing insights into your most played artists and songs across different periods, often with more granular data than Spotify Wrapped, which is why stats might appear different; Stats.FM can access your entire listening history, while Wrapped usually only presents a snapshot of the most recent year based on Spotify's calculations, because Stats.FM is a third-party app, so stats might not perfectly match Spotify Wrapped due to slight data processing and calculations differences.
Okay, we all understand now then? Me neither, let's get on with it anyway.
2024 By The Numbers:
- 59,737 minutes listened
- 19,048 streams
- 996 hours streamed
- 6,176 different tracks
- 4,703 different artists
- 5,865 different albums
Here are the criteria for compiling the tracks. If the number after point 1 is the same, point 2 will be used to differentiate, and so on.
- Number of streams [The number of times I have streamed the track]
- Minutes streamed [The total number of minutes each track has been streamed for]
- Effervescence points [The number of points the track has on my Crown Note Effervescence chart total]
- On the rare occasion we get past the above differentiators and still cannot separate, I will simply select my personal choice between the two

Ahoy, Sergej!
I remember you mentioning you had joined Stats in the summer of last year. I look forward to you gettign to dig in once you've had a full calendar year on the site and you get to compare yours to your Wrapped and your SPC Crown Note stats. Makes for interesting and surprising reading.
Thanks for the comment!

Hey Maxon! :)
There are so many positive things I could say about your Year-End chart, but I really like 'Honey Boy', 'Good Luck, Babe!', 'Murder On The Dancefloor' & 'Angel Of My Dreams' in the Top 10 in particular.
Good chart!

Ahoy, Piran!
My listening habits seems to pair pretty seamlessly with my Effervescence charts! I too really enjoy the tracks you mention.
Thank you for stopping by.

#61… Stop! What??? 😨 I see the hieroglyphs? 😧 Are you okay? What happened? You was never interested on Chinese culture before!
So, a very interesting separation of the year-end chart… 🧐 But anyway, very glad to see the great vocalist of the "Oasis" band! 👍
Ahoy, Maxon! Happy New Year to you! Waiting a lot of retro charts from you. I lost my interest to a modern music. Now I try to fill my brain with all time greatest song. Also, I have not enough time to listen a songs from the current world charts.
What do you think about Billboard Hot 100 year end chart? I am happy to see "Bulletproof" there. I think, it is my favourite American song of the last year.
Have a good time! 🤜🤛 I will definitely come here again!
Also, I still really hope that the day will come when you become a fan of Apple Music. 😌😜 But American subscription is worse for a fans of the world music. A lot of foreign songs are not available. I changed the region of my Apple account, and now use UK subscription with more foreign content.

Ahoy, Alex!
It's been a while!! I look forward to your sporadic drop-ins. Great to hear from you. I hope you had a great festive season and new year!
Hilarious about 'Fallen'. I don't have anything against any culture. A good track is a good track. While I enjoy a good root around in music all over the world I really don't have the chance to hear anywhere near as much of what is out there as I'd like to. I was looking at one of the people I follow on here who specifically charts a lot of dance/EDM music and 'Fallen' was one of them which really grabbed me that first listen. A tune is a tune, it went right into my chart and I guess as this rundown shows, I played it quite a bit too!
You knew Liam was likely to be there or there abouts come the end of the year! 'Just Another Rainbow', and 'Mars To Liverpool' are both great tracks. I look forward to seeing if we get any new Oasis music next year to accompaniment the big farewell tour. It wouldn't surprise me.
I like that you're studying older music and the history of what has inspired so many over the years. There is always consistently good older music that you'll discover that amazing. It literally never runs out.
I haven't had the chance to check out the Billboard End of Year chart but must get on that. I tend not to love the Billboard charts as much as many of the European one's so I don't check it as often.
I look forward to your return to Crown Note. It was always fun to see what you had going on.
I'll very unlikely ever switch to Apple Music. I've never like their closed environment so don't buy anything Apple. I also absolutely love my Spotify so the need isn't even close.
Thank you for stopping by, Alex. Best wishes for a phenomenal new year!

Hi there Maxon!
Nice to see "Love Hurt Repeat" top your Stats.fm year-end list! There are also a lot of songs I like from your list, almost every song in the top 10 and probably half of the songs on here I really like!
Also the stats.fm year end chart sounds fun! I might do one for myself in 2025 though!
