Week of Winners Chart #25 (40 Goes 50)

Hi everyone! This is Week of Winners Chart, a chart of songs I love so much, and/or like a lot at the moment. This is based on how much I appreciate the songs, and also how much I am listening to them at the moment.

Disclaimers:

  • Announcement: For this chart moving forward, I now expand my 40 songs list to 50 songs. This isn't just to make sure that the charts won't be merely new or re-entries being replaced over and over again. It's also so that I can provide more room for diversity and inclusivity on the charts, alongside different channels' or people's tastes.
    • As such, here are the new official recurrent rules from this point on:
      • Songs 15 weeks old in the chart will be permanently removed if they dip below the Top 20.
      • Songs 20 weeks old in the chart will be permanently removed if they dip below the Top 15.
      • Songs 25 weeks old in the chart will be permanently removed if they dip below the Top 10.
      • Songs 30 weeks old in the chart will be automatically permanently removed the next week, regardless of position in the Top 10. This is to give way for new songs to be on the charts.
    • The number of weeks on the charts INCLUDE bonus charts (eg Womens' Day, April Fools, SOUR Anniversary, etc.)
    • For this week only: Songs that are stuck in permanent recurrence will have one chance to re-enter the charts, and only for one week, if:
      1. It hasn't broken out of permanent recurrence yet (sorry, See Tinh, you already did it), and
      2. It still follows the recurrent rules above
    • NO EXCEPTIONS. NOT EVEN BEATLES OR OLIVIA.
  • No classic Christmas songs will be allowed in the chart for more than one week except Last Christmas by Wham, and only newer ones will be allowed, like Christmas Break by Gracenote. This is to be fair and to make sure my charts DO NOT look like Billboard during the holidays.
    • However, this rule will not apply for Halloween, EDSA Revolution, and some events like artist's death, new documentary, or album/single release), since they will not likely be massive for artists outside the Beatles, Queen, Olivia and a few others who are among my all-time favorites, and they will likely fall off after the first week.
  • New Rule: Instrumental songs can be allowed to chart normally, as long as I love them. Meme songs will also be allowed, but they can only chart a maximum of 10 weeks. I will get to decide what meme-related song counts as a normal song (like Il Vento d'oro / Jojo Theme) and what counts as a true meme song (like Baby Shark).
  • Songs that are on here are either in my personal Awesome Tier, Excellent Tier, or the Supreme Tier. I won't feature bad songs, not even as a joke. Only songs I barely like at worst and I cherish and will love forever at best, will be here.
  • This chart is NOT a chart of the most popular songs of a certain demographic or locality, so it will NOT act as a barometer of what is and isn't a hit for any of my best lists. It is merely based on my personal, completely subjective opinions and preferences.

So yeah, enjoy!
