Pietro's Hot 40 (8/26/17) - 'Fetish' stumbles, 'Angel' debuts!

*This week the chart is expanded to a Top 40 as I have been listening to more music*

*If you want to see overall records/stats for the chart, go to the original chart here (dated August 5) I will be updating records like 'Most Weeks at #1' in the write up of that chart.

In this issue of my Hot 40 most listened to songs in a week, Kesha releases her third studio album 'Rainbow', and many tracks from that album chart in the Hot 40. Notable are 'Let 'Em Talk', which is the highest debut from the album at #4, 'Bastards' at #5, and 'Rainbow' at #10. Because these three tracks debuted in the Top Ten, many other tracks were pushed back to the Top 20 or Top 25. Rebounds coud happen next week.

Other top ten moves include the monster debut of 'Angel' by Fifth Harmony, a promotional single from their third studio album, at #1. It notches a 1.55 to 1 ratio on the #2, 'As If It's Your Last' by BLACKPINK, which saw major gains in performance. Both of these songs push 'Fetish' by Selena Gomez ft. Gucci Mane down to #3, although it is still lucky it spends the week in the Top 3 with all the Kesha debuts. Also in the Top Ten is 'What About Us?' by P!nk, which debuts at #7. Additionally, two songs by Camila Cabello which debuted last week each achieve another week in the Top Ten even with the new releases.

New peaks: #2, 'As If It's Your Last' by BLACKPINK, #12, 'Saved' by Khalid, #13, 'Heavy' by Linkin Park featuring Kiiara, #18, 'Strangers' by Halsey featuring Lauren Jauregui, #20, 'American Teen' by Khalid, #28, '1-800xxx' by Logic featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid

The Hot Shot Debut this week of course goes to 'Angel' by Fifth Harmony at #1.

The Greatest Gainer this week is 'Saved' by Khalid, up 13 spots to #12 on the chart.

The Greatest Loser this week is 'Issues' by Julia Michaels, which falls 23 spots to #33.

Dropouts: 'Location' by Khalid, 'Young Dumb & Broke' by Khalid (which wil be back next week though after some Kesha songs fizzle out), 'Be The One' by Dua Lipa, 'That's My Girl' by Fifth Harmony, 'So Good' by Zara Larsson, 'Perfect Places' by Lorde, and 'Don't Leave' by Snakeships featuring MO.
