- This is the first time the mid-update is completely different from the actual chart, with the predicted #1 not even reaching the top 5.
- At the top of the chart, Carly Rae Jepsen's new single, "Now That I Found You", dethrones "Always Remembers Us This Way" and becomes Jepsen's first #1 and second top 10 on the chart, after "Party For One" reached #10 earlier last month (however, the song reaches a new peak at #8 this week due to the hype). "No Drug Like Me" also pulls an impressive #2 debut eventually and becomes Jepsen's third top 10.
- Marina (former & The Diamonds) makes a surprising #3 debut with her new song "Superstar", after her previously released track, "Handmade Heaven", failed to make any impact whatsoever on the chart. Clean Bandit & Ellie Goulding's "Mama" climbs an impressive total of 23 spots and goes #4 this week, after it was predicted mid-week to go #3.
- Last week's top track, "Always Remembers Us This Way", drops 4 spots to #5, but remains stable and might see another week at #1 in the near future. What was supposed to be this week's #1 rises only 2 spots instead of 7 and goes #6, aiming for another top 5 week on the next chart.
- Dua Lipa's "Want To" is another surprising climber, as the song reaches #7 this week. It's important to note that this is Lipa's first top ten entry ever since "No Goodbyes" went #1 (and dropped to #3 the next update) and her first song to enter the chart ever since "IDGAF" charted for 3 updates. One last shock-climber is "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart", which reaches a new peak, at #10.
- As for the new entries, besides the aforementioned top 3 of new songs, another track bows at #9 this week: Jessie Ware's "Adore You", marking her second top 10 (first since "Selfish Love" dominated the chart) and third overall entry (after "Selfish Love" and "Stay Awake, Wait For Me"). Other new entries are Slayyyter's "Mine" (#19) and Jax Jones' "Play" (#17) - which might pull a "Mama" and go top 10 next week. Jonas Brothers' reunion debuts at the bottom of the chart as it felt wrong to have it debut higher or not at all.
- Some songs that are dropping for the first time out of the top 10 since they entered the chart: "bury a friend", goes #13 this week, "bloodline" goes #12, "needy" goes #14, "The End of Love" goes #16. Kehlani's "Nights Like This" suffers the biggest drop this week, reaching #19 after it peaked at #5 last week.
