Hey Sergej! :)

Of the songs you mentioned, 'Squabble Up' is the one that's most likely to reach a new peak next week.

Thank you for the comment!

Hey Sergej!

Wow! Since Tate McRae’s "Greedy," I think it’s been ages since we shared the same #1 song in the same week. I’m so thrilled that the infectious "APT." is leading both our charts at the same time!

Annalisa has had an amazing year in SPC, and now with "Used to You" in the Top Ten, I wouldn’t be surprised if it reaches #1 in the coming weeks. It’s such a captivating track. Tate McRae is also making waves, entering the Top Ten for the third time with "2 Hands." Tom Gregory is about to score another Top 20 with the fantastic "Wreck." I also love the new peaks for "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)", "Fata Morgana", "People Watching", "Pink Pony Club", "tv off" (Which is the only Kendrick Lamar song not to drop this week), and especially "Mantra." "Islanda" is gaining solid international traction and could make it into Rockmaker soon.

I’m also thrilled to see Christmas classics reclaiming their spot on SPC. "Last Christmas" has now spent 54 weeks on the chart—what a record! I’m crossing my fingers for it to finally hit the top spot. It’s interesting how the iconic "All I Want for Christmas Is You" has only ever peaked at #5 on SPC (Mr. Sergej "Grinch" xD). Other staples like "Driving Home For Christmas," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" (hopefully it gets that much-deserved Top Ten this Christmas!), "It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" (fingers crossed for its first Top 20 this year), and "Wonderful Dream (Holidays Are Coming)" are also making their mark. Special mention to the lovely "Merry Holiday (Jingle Bells)," which I might just steal for my own playlists, haha.

Thanks to your playlist, I’m discovering new songs like "Broken Sunshine," "Left In Your Love," "Take Me To The Beach," and "Told You So," and I’m loving them!

From this week’s debuts, I just listened to your new releases playlist, and "Touch Me" sounds amazing (a well-deserved debut at #2, ÁSDÍS gives serious Gaga vibes!). I also enjoyed "Walk With Me" (Felix Jaehn is back in the Top 5 with a track perfect for year-end parties), "CAVE" (welcome back, Tove Lo!), "Supernova Love," "Around The World," and, of course, "Forbidden Road," which is also on my chart. Among the holiday debuts, I adore Annalisa’s version of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and it’s lovely to see "Christmas Magic" by Perrie here as well.

Apologies for not replying to your comments last week—I’ve been swamped with year-end work. But I’m now eagerly looking forward to the release of SPC’s Best of 2024 tomorrow, Sunday, December 8th. I’m also putting together my own year-end summary, awards included! 😄

I imagine you’ve already set up your Christmas tree at home and are enjoying the last days of the year to the rhythm of "APT." Wishing you a happy and wonderful new week!

Hey there! 😊

It’s incredible to see "APT." ruling both our charts this week—it’s such a dynamic track and has been on heavy rotation for me. Annalisa really is having a phenomenal year on SPC, and "Used to You" climbing into the Top Ten feels like a natural progression. I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes the crown soon either; it’s so addictive. Tate McRae almost scoring her third Top Ten with "2 Hands" also feels well-deserved—her consistency this year has been amazing. And yes, Tom Gregory’s "Wreck" is such a standout; it’s great seeing him rise again.

I love that you noticed all the new peaks! "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)" and "Pink Pony Club" hold such special spots for me, and "Mantra" is really something else—its vibe is so unique. It’s exciting to hear about "Islanda" making waves internationally. It’d be fantastic to see it land on Rockmaker soon!

Ah, Christmas classics are back, and it’s so much fun seeing them reclaim their spots! "Last Christmas" hitting 54 weeks on the chart is insane, and I’m secretly hoping it’ll finally reach #1 this year too. 😂 When it comes to "All I Want for Christmas Is You", it's not my problem that the competition during christmas charts were intense, but hey, maybe this will be the year it grows on me even more. I’m rooting for "Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree" to break into the Top Ten as well; it’s such a festive staple! And yes, you should definitely add "Merry Holiday (Jingle Bells)" to your playlist—it’s so charming.

I’m thrilled you’re enjoying songs from my playlist! "Broken Sunshine" and "Take Me To The Beach" have been such pleasant surprises for me, and I’m so glad they resonated with you too. From this week’s debuts, I’m absolutely loving ÁSDÍS’ "Touch Me"—those Gaga vibes are unreal! Felix Jaehn’s "Walk With Me" is the perfect party anthem, and it’s so good to have Tove Lo back with "CAVE." Annalisa’s version of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" has a beautiful warmth to it, and Perrie’s "Christmas Magic" adds the perfect sprinkle of festive cheer.

No worries about last week—this time of year gets hectic for everyone! I can’t wait for my Best of 2024 tomorrow—it’s going to be epic. I’m also super curious to see your year-end summary and awards. I bet it’s going to be filled with some surprises and gems!

And yes, the Christmas tree is up! 🎄 I’m savoring these last days of the year with plenty of music, movies, tv, NFL games and planning for 2025. Wishing you an amazing week ahead filled with joy and wonderful discoveries!

Thank you so much for your comment and take care!

Cheers,

Ahoy, Sergej!

Love to see 'APT.' finally reach the top spot! Also 'Touch Me', and 'Walk With Me' entering in the Top 5.

Of course enjoying the slow Christmas invasion with 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home', 'Wonderful Dream (Holidays Are Coming)', 'Christmas Magic', 'Merry Holiday (Jingle Bells)', 'Under The Tree', 'Merry Christmas Everyone', 'Underneath The Tree', 'It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year', 'It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas', and 'Fairytale of New York'. The season has definitely arrived. I will be interested to see how the next two, possibly three charts pan out and who's going to nab your Christmas Top Spot!

Great chart as always
