Sabrina Carpenter’s “Sue Me” rules for a FIFTH week, Ava Max earns a ‘Greatest Gainer’ to her name
Unsurprisingly, Sabrina Carpenter continues to dominate the top 50 chart. The second single “Sue Me” from Singular Act I has spent it’s FIFTH week at #1, and she’s the only artist she’s blocking from the spot. “Almost Love”, a previous multi-week #1 before the chart went live currently sits at #2, and hasn’t left the Top 10 since entry. “Bad Time” has climbed two spots to #3, reaching a new peak while “Mona Lisa” climbs SIX spots to #4, also hitting a new peak.
The only artist interrupting Sabrina’s reign of songs in the top 5 is Ariana Grande. “breathin” is currently sitting at #5, while “thank u, next” has climbed two spots to a new peak of #7! Speaking of female artists dominating pop, Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson have entered the Top 10 at #8 with “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart”. The song climbs eight spots to the new peak. It’s Miley’s and Mark’s first top 10 entry!
“1999”, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s pop perfection collaboration continues to climb the chart once again this week, after previously being held back. It climbs four spots to a new live chart peak of #14.
Ava Max’s first chart entry has made a HUGE move this week. “Sweet but Psycho” has climbed EIGHTEEN spots this week, blocking ZAYN & Nicki Minaj once again from entering the Top 20, and making it the Greatest Gainer of the week, as well as the climb being the biggest the chart has ever seen. The previous streak was held by Little Mix and Kamille with “More Than Words”, which climbed fifteen spots the week of November 25th, 2018. Due to the huge gain this week, the song is expected to enter the Top 10 next week.
Alessia Cara’s new album “The Pains of Growing” continues to grow throughout the chart! “7 Days” has climbed seven spots to #26, “Nintendo Game” has climbed eight spots to #29, “Comfortable” sits comfortable at #35, “Out of Love” climbs NINE spots to #37, and “My Kind” climbs to #42. She has also debuted a new track off the album on the chart, “All We Know” is at #48.
Zara Larsson is just a spot away from reaching the Top 30 with her debut entry “Ruin My Life”. It has climbed five spots to #31 this week, and it’s expected to enter the Top 30 next week! Rita Ora’s “New Look” celebrates the same case as it climbs NINE spots to #32! Unfortunately for Rita, the other tracks aside from “Summer Love” have fallen off the chart this week.
ZAYN has debuted a THIRD song on the Top 50 this week! Following “No Candle No Light” and “Rainberry” comes the power ballad “Good Years”, which debuts #38 making it ZAYN’s second Top 40 entry.
