TACOCAT's Chart #52

Hi, before I start the chart description, in case you didn’t see I have now completed and added the descriptions to the previous charts that I missed. Also in case you didn’t see, I posted on Chart #51 (or 50) that once it is about a year since I started Crownnote (maybe Chart 54?) I will start doing the ‘Top Ten Throwbacks of Last Year’s Chart’, my current favorite songs on last year’s, or just some I want to remember.

You can check out all the charts, updates and descriptions you may have missed under the 2021 bar here:

Also, if you want to please comment, I will try to comment on yours as well.

THIS WEEK ON TACOCAT’S CHART:

  • “Kiss Me More” stays on number 1 for a third week, Doja’s first solo song to do so (her first song to do so as a featuring artist was “motive”). After staying on the chart for almost a year, “Say So” leaves the chart, marking another one of the oldest songs to go.
  • Meanwhile, newbie “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” only just starts its maybe long journey on the chart as it charts its 5th week this week.
  • Still sitting pretty in the Top 3, “drivers license” already spends its 15th week.
  • Rosé gets a second song into the Top 5 as “Gone” hits number 5.
  • Demi Lovato speeds into the Top 10 for the second time with “Dancing With The Devil” on its 5th week.
  • Bebe Rexha is the highest riser this week as her most recent single, “Sabotage” jumps to number 11.
  • “main thing” by Ariana Grande spends its 10th week on the chart. Ariana also enters the chart with two songs this week; one with The Weeknd on “Save Your Tears (Remix)” and another by herself with the promo-single “Focus” of the album “Dangerous Woman”.
  • “Daisy 2.0” is already on its 20th week on the chart, hoping to stay way longer in the future.
  • Dua Lipa scores her third Top 20 hit (following “Levitating (Remix)” featuring DaBaby & “We’re Good”) with “That Kind of Woman”.
  • “Star” by LOONA spends its 5th week while “Bicycle” by CHUNG HA spends its 10th week. “Bicycle” also takes the biggest fall this week.
  • 24kGoldn’s “Love Or Lust” also spends its 5th week. “Mood” sadly falls off the chart this week, another long staying song gone. Actually, the only songs left on the chart that have been more than 30 weeks are “FANCY”, “Rain On Me” & “Ice Cream”.
  • TWICE returns once again with “Kura Kura”, a new Japanese single. It is the highest debut this week.
  • CHVRCHES finally debuts a new single, “He Said She Said”.
  • Alaina Castillo’s “stfu (i got u)” spends its 10th week while “Ice Cream” by BLACKPINK spends its 35th week.
  • Weeekly and Bree Runway debut on the chart for the first time ever with their songs “After School” and “ATM”.
