Waffle's Current Favourites - Week of January 8, 2022

We've got another new #1 this week, as after having a few other songs chart and hit the Top 10, Mimi Webb earns her very first #1 with "Lonely In Love" rising up a spot to #1, pushing "abcdefu" by GAYLE to #2. "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)" holds at #3, and finally both "Moth To A Flame" by Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd and "The Motto" by Tiësto and Ava Max rise up a spot to #4 and #5 respectively, mostly due to "Just Look Up" falling out of the Top 5.

We have 3 new entries this week, with the highest being "Big Energy" by Latto at #20, making this her first new entry. We also see "No" by Little Mix at #23 and "Bad Man (Smooth Criminal)" by Polo G at #25, making this both artists' newest charting entrants. They replace 2 former #1's, as both "You Signed Up For This" and "good 4 u" make their way off the chart after having some pretty successful chart runs. We also have a ton of new songs in the Bubbling Under section. No seriously, this might actually be the most songs that have ever been in there at once.
