The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

In a week of sparse new entries (only 4 new entries on the top 40), 2 of those battled for the top spot in a closely fought battle all week. Coming out on top and sampling Eiffel 65’s classic single from 1999 (Blue) is David Guetta & Bebe Rexha with their viral hit “Im Good (Blue)”. Britney Spears epic return enters straight at no.2 with “Hold me closer” collaborating with Elton John. Could Britney climb in the upcoming weeks?

Kate Bush slips to number 3 and The Weekend slips to number 4 with last week’s number 1 “Best Friends”.

After missing out last week, Demi Lovato climbs to number 1 on the album chart with “Holy Fvck”. This week’s news of a new Taylor Swift album in October has resulted in 2 of her previous albums re-entering the top 10.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Latto – Big Energy remix (20 consecutive weeks)
  2. Dermot Kennedy – Something to Someone (17 consecutive weeks)
  3. Sam Fender – Getting started (15 non consecutive weeks)

Next week, look out for new singles from Dermot Kennedy, Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth, The 1975, Ava Max, Ari Lennox & Summer Walker, Emeli Sande & Nile Rodgers, Jonas Blue & Louisa Johnson, Nina Nesbitt and finally a collaboration between David Guetta/Sigala & Sam Ryder.

On the album front, look out for the new album from Nina Nesbitt

Hi Zack!
Nice to see "I'm Good (Blue)" at the top, "Stranger" going into the top 10, "All These Nights" returning to the top 10, the debuts for "Hold Me Closer" and "Black Mascara" and the big gain for "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)".
Great chart!

Wow I'm dying for your chart this week lol.

Brand new number one i hadn't felt that track added it late on my chart looks it's becoming Bebe Rexha big hit in a while .

Elton John behind there it's fair track though it hasn't impacted on my chart.

Running up that hill still fighting in the top 3 to return to the top. Break my soul has exited the top 10 following behind Alien Superstar #12 that beyoncé album will win a Grammy for best pop vocal album if not album of the year lol

I ain't worried slow gaining i hope it enters the top 10 soon behind history by Joel corry that track should be charting on my chart don't know why it has exited after a week.

Wait 4 u still in your top 20 interesting to know that you still vibing to it

Like the gain of 2be loved by lizzo I'm glad she won an award for about damn time on vmas .She has definitely worked very hard in career .

Big energy still energy in your chart 20 weeks that's impressive .

Like the lowly debut of God Did it's fair production and the album with a list Rappers Rappers interesting

Hey, not sure if you now about the original from 1999 (Eiffel 65 - blue) which was huge accross Europe. It was the 2nd biggest song of 1999 only behind Britney - baby one more time, and its sample with catchy lyrics have gone viral. I love it! Britney always impacts my chart but hoping she releases her own music/stuff soon. Yes, have to say that Beyonce's albumis growing on me. The OneRepublic track is a very slow climber - still unsure where it will peak. "History" is really catchy and still has room to climb. Yes, I was wondering where Becky Hill was on your chart. I really like "2 be loved", i thinks its better than her previous release. I kind of forgot that DJ khaled was involved on that Latto track, love the Mariah sample on it and "big energy" may still stick around for now.
