The Biggest Songs Of The Week

SZA climbs ahead of Lana this week and gains her first ever number 1 single on my chart with “nobody gets me” and in doing so, becomes the last no.1 of 2022! It’s also a double no.1 for her as SZA holds firmly on to the no.1 album chart spot with “SOS” for a 3rd consecutive week holding off both Taylor Swift and Dermot Kennedy.

Raye climbs back to her former peak position of no.2 and is likely to battle with SZA for the no.1 spot next week. Meanwhile, The Weeknd grabs 2 spots in the top 10.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (30 consecutive weeks)
  2. Sam Fender – Getting Started (23 non consecutive weeks)

Hi Zack!
Nice to see the rebounds of many songs, thanks to the christmas fallout, as well as the returns for "I'm Good (Blue)", "Ghost in the Machine", "Would've, Could've, Should've" and the debuts for "Dancing's Done" and "Insomnia".
Great chart!
Take care.

Nice to see Nobody Gets Me thats the ballad song and I think it was perfect to promote the album . Wondering how she will perform next week on your chart. Like the new peak for Raye definitely contending for this week . Interesting the rebounds of Taylor and Sza Shirt.and Dermot Kennedy all back to the top 10.Wow didn't expect that huge jump for Creepin i guess it's the Weekend part that made you love it. Another rebounds F2F it's a catchy one very alternative like sounding... Running Up won't be going anywhere anytime soon . I like Calm Down rebound. Interesting to see some xmas songs still in the chart this week . Well im happy to see huge reentries from David Guetta, Sza kill bill i guess it should earn a new peak she teased music video for it she must promote it to the  radio too the lyrics hit too hard definitely to the point i loved the bridge specifically .Taylor Swift midnights album must be on heavy rotation on your playlist i see some tracks return just below the chart. And lastly Made You Look reenters #37 it kinda reminds of her All About the bass when it went viral. Interesting that sos she charts for a third week with midnights contending which is happening around the world. Interesting RENAISSANCE still in the top 10. Didn't expect to vibe to Metro Boomin

Yes, SZA gets her first no.1 but there is a real battle this week between her and Raye, as is the battle between SZA and Taylor on the album chart. "Creepin" samples Mario Winana's song "i don't wanna know" and I remember it well (as well as sampling the Fugees and Enya), although I have to admit, it was the first I heard of Metro Boomin. Because of the track, I noticed his album was full of collabs so trying to listen to it when I get the chance! "Calm down" is gaining further traction on my chart. My chart is relased typically Thursday night or Friday at the latest, hence Xmas Eve on Friday, Xmas Day on Saturday meant there were still loads of xmas songs being played hence they still featured on the chart until xmas was over! Intrested to see the "kill bill" video. Its pretty rare forme to be listening to 3 great albums at the same time, but that is what's happening right now with SZA, Taylor and Dermot Kennedy. Yes, Meghan Trainor has gone back to her roots, a wise move. I'm still listening to "cuff it" and "alien superstar" so the album is still being played by Beyonce.
