The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

TOP 10 ALBUMS of the week

1. Haim – Women In Music Pt. III (non mover)

2. Dermot Kennedy - Without fear (non mover)

3. Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles (up 5)

4.  The Weeknd – After Hours (up 1)

5. Kygo – Golden Hour (up 2)

7. Juice WRLD – Legends never die (new entry)

Dermot Kennedy holds on to the number 1 spot for a second consecutive week with “Giants”. His current album remains at number 2 with Haim holding onto the number 1 album spot for a third consecutive week. Zara Larsson achieves the highest new entry with “Love Me Land” entering straight in at number 2. Meanwhile, the release of several new official videos leads to climbs and re-entries from the likes of Kygo & Kim Petras, Charlie Puth, Dua Lipa & Haim. After getting a number 1 with her last single “Daisies”, Katy Perry settles for a new entry at no.19 with “Smile”, while Raye just misses out on the top 10 with her new single “Natalie Don’t”.

Bubbling under the chart:

Doja Cat ft Gucci Mane – Like That

The Band Perry – If I die young

Sam Fender – Play God

Juice WRLD ft Halsey – Life’s a mess

Summer Walker – Let it go

Doja Cat - Boss B*tch

Next week:

The big release set to enter on next week’s chart is the collaboration between Anne Marie ft Doja Cat with “To be young”. Her only number 1 on my chart is her being featured on Clean Bandits record “Rockabye” with Sean Paul. Her biggest solo hit is “2002” which peaked no.2 on my charts and she has had plenty of top 10 hit singles including collaborations with Lauv, James Arthur & Marshmello. Could “To be young” give her the first “official” number 1?

Kygo is back with a new single despite only recently releasing his album “Golden Hour” with a dance reworking and collaboration with the legend Tina Turner with her song “What’s love got to do with it”. Considering he had a massive hit with Whitney Houston (Higher Love) which peaked at number 2 last year (on my chart and impacted the biggest songs of 2019), this could be an epic hit for him battling for number 1 next week.

Meanwhile DJ Khaled returns with not one, but two new singles featuring Drake (“Popstar” & “Greece”). Another collaboration that could make an impact next week is Zedd & Jasmine Thompson with “Funny”. And finally....if any of you have watched “13 Reasons why”, “Love, Simon” or “Knives Out”, you will know of the actress and now singer Katherine Langford who releases her first ever single titled “I could be your king” featured on the new Netflix production “Cursed”. Could she enter the top 40?

Ellie Goulding is the big album release looking to topple Haim’s three week reign at the top. Her new album “Brightest blue” is the follow up to “Delerium”. She could potentially have multiple songs entering the chart. The Chicks (formely Dixie Chicks) also release a new album titled “Gaslighter”.

Other potential new entries next week:

WizKid ft H.E.R

Tinashe

Delta Goodrem

THEY & Tinashe

Troye Sivan

Hie mate always looking forward your chart!
I am very happy to see Giants still holding on!
I'm shocked Zara Larsson is top debut congratulations to her!The single is catchy I did listento it hope it grows on me .i like the reentries of Hallucinate & Girlfriend with the latter into top 10 intersting there
I m happy to see lose somebody gain massively
as well as " Don't Wanna ", Blinding Lights,
That new entry from Raye haven't heard the chance to listen to it with a bunch of releases there is so much to consume .I'm impressed with Dermot kennedy & HAIM going strong!!

Esp this week looking forward to Kygo it's very catchy! I have listened to Tinashe new song very dope
annemarrie too a lot and Ellie Goulding album! !!!
I'm always impressed by your chart although sad Heaven on my mind didn't go higher hahaha
What is the best new song on your list so far

hi buddy, i did say Zara larsson was the biggest new song released on my last weeks commentary, i do tend to like her songs, they are always catchy! But its not as good as her last smash hit on my chart "Ruin my life". Yeah I realised after seeing "hallucinate" on your chart, that she must have released a video...and then she did! Girlfriend became more catchier for me after watching his great video. Haims video for "don't wanna" is kind of funny if u havnt seen it, they are the queens of walking cool in music videos! Raye's song is really good, her video is very cool too. Yeah I guess I knew the kygo/tina turner songs would be good as we are all well aware of the original. Its so catchy and i just seen the video for it too. Great for the summer! Ellie Gouldings album is very good, some standouts on there. Im also liking Anne marie and Doja Cat, with a nice video for it too. So far, its a battle between Kygo/Tina Turner and Anne Marie/Doja Cat. Looks likely there will be a new number 1 next week. Ellie Goulding is battling hard too. Kygo/Tina Turner has the slight edge so far. Havnt listened t DJ Khaled/Drake yet...

Great I'm listening to A LIST Pop just a mixture #2020
Earlier was listening to Calvin Harris album 18 MONTHS now just playlist of A LIST POP

Hi Zack!
Nice to see "Giants" at #1! I also like the big gains for "Broken Glass" in the top 5 and "Don't Wanna" in the top 20!
For the debuts, I like "Love Me Land", "Natalie Don't", "Chew On My Heart" and I like the re-entries for "Girlfriend" and "Hallucinate"!
I'm excited where "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "Funny" will land on your chart.
Great chart!

Hey Zack! :)
Oh wow, I really like this new chart of yours! I enjoy most of them to be fair, but I love this one especially, haha.
It's cool to see 'Giants' remain at #1, along with 'Love Me Land' being the highest debut of the week just beneath it & 'Broken Glass' soaring into the Top 5 thanks to the official video!
I'm also loving that 'Hallucinate' makes such a big comeback, along with the debut for 'Smile' & the re-entry for 'This City'.
I look forward to seeing what next week will bring!
