My Top 50 - 09/10/2017

September 10, 2017 | 50 songs

Taylor Swift keeps #1, Rita Ora, Portugal. The Man and FIfth Harmony move up.

"Look What You Made Me Do" leads a stagnant top 3, earning a second week at the top spot. While it fell around 30% from last week's huge points total, it still leads "New Rules" by over 40%.

The aforementioned "Rules" takes #2 for Dua Lipa after six weeks at #1. While "Rules" is probably catching up to it at this rate, Lipa's biggest single to date remains her three week leader "Be The One" which has surpassed "Shape of You" to become the #1 song year-to-date.

Charlie Puth's "Attention" is steady at #3, after a week at #2. At 17 weeks, it's the oldest song on the top 20.

Rita Ora's "Your Song" and Portugal. The Man's "Feel It Still" both move up a single spot and reach new #4 and #5 peaks respectively. It's a feat matched by this week's #6 song, Liam Payne's "Strip that Down" which moves up there after several weeks stuck at #7.

Kesha earns her highest peaking song from Rainbow this week, as "Learn to Let Go" moves to #7 and outpeaks lead single "Praying" (#13 this week, #9 peak so far). Similarly, Fifth Harmony's "He Like That" becomes their first top 10 hit from their latest album, after lead single "Down" stalled outside top 20.

Sandwiched between those two, former #1 "Feels" falls to #8, it's lowest ranking since it jumped over 40 places to #2 on it's second week, and "Unforgettable" which reached a #3 peak a few weeks ago.

This week's highest debut comes courtesy of Maroon 5 and SZA. Both acts have spent time recently on the top 10: "Cold" the previous Maroon 5 single reached #10, while SZA was featured on Rihanna's "Consideration". Taylor Swift's "...Ready For It?" starts at #19. This week's Greatest Gainer is Halsey with "Bad at Love" jumping 22 spots to #18.
