Hey Coolocelot! :)
Yeah, I was really pleased to see how well 'Wrong Direction' did over on your chart too, although I'm not sure I see it getting a second week at the top! In fact, while this is Hailee Steinfeld's fifth #1, only 'Let Me Go' has lasted more than a single week at #1 for her.
While 'Six Feet Under' might struggle next week because of Echosmith, I think it's certainly still got Top 10 potential in the weeks that follow!
'Wait For You' will definitely be moving up again next week because of a high replay factor, maybe even going back to #1! Either way, it looks like this might be the end of 'Body Back's incredible reign.
I think 'This Is Real' will survive next week too, but I don't know about 'Lose Control'!
As for 'Came For The Low', I don't see it going too much further to be honest, but it's a shame that you weren't a fan of it at all.
Thanks for your comment though mate!
I've actually already checked out your chart & replied to you there, haha.
Hey Piran, so Hailee got to number one! Good to see a new number 1. I love the song too, you will see where it entered on my chart. I like the simple video she has made for it too. It does remind me of Selena Gomez - lose you to love me. I don't think Hailee has ever released a bad song! Looking at the songs just under your chart, I can see Bastille and Alessia Cara - thats a great song, it peaked at 8 on my chart a couple of months ago, great catchy chorus!
Hey Zack! :)
That's awesome to hear about the new #1! I can't wait to see where it landed on your own chart.
I was reminded a lot of 'Lose You To Love Me' too, but I've been a fan of Hailee Steinfeld from the start, so that's why 'Wrong Direction' managed to get that one place higher!
I don't think she's released a bad song either! I mean, some are less enjoyable than others such as 'Afterlife', but even that still charted for me.
We'll see about 'Another Place' making the actual chart, but with an album bomb from Echosmith coming next week, I don't see it happening unfortunately!
Thanks for the comment.
I am so excited to see Wrong Direction blasts onto number #1 it's a great song though underrated .All Night long I love the song jumps 18 places into top #10
I love the endurance for Someone You Loved Lewis Capaldi looks we still singing it into #2020! even myself. I like for the re entry We Got Love i love that song as well as Lose Control
Great chart as usual mine is out don't forget to check it out. Great weekend mate!
Hey Brandy! :)
I'm glad you're loving 'Wrong Direction' at #1 this week, although this looks to be its only week there because of an Echosmith album bomb for next week.
'All Night Long' is going to struggle getting much higher, but 'We Got Love' might stick around for next week's chart, same with 'Lose Control'!
'Someone You Loved' actually returned to the Top 10 of the UK charts this past week, despite first reaching there almost 11 months ago! It looks like Lewis Capaldi is going to start 2020 like he ended 2019 indeed.
Thanks for the comment!
Hello Piran!
Surprised to see "Wrong Direction" at #1, haven't heard this song yet.
But I do like "Decent" getting a sizeable gain, the debut for "Rabbit Hole" and all the re-entries, except for "Hei rekas" (which I haven't heard yet).
In the bubbling under chart, I like "Another Place" debuting there, but I really love seeing "I Wish I Never Met You" also there.
Great chart as always!
Hey Sergej! :)
Hopefully you like 'Wrong Direction', let me know what you think of it.
'Decent' is actually probably my least favourite of the five Maia Wright singles charting at the moment, but the fact that even that's still a Top 20 shows how much I love her, haha!
'Rabbit Hole' & 'Another Place' might struggle to get too much further, but 'I Wish I Never Met You' should debut inside the Top 5 next week, probably even being #1 if it weren't for Echosmith.
'Hei Rakas' is a slow Finnish pop ballad, so if that's your thing, check it out!
Thanks for the comment.
Hi Piran! Great chart as usual, the highlights for me are the debut of Wrong Direction, which I expected to not be my thing but I actually rather liked, and the entrace of I Wish I Never Met You in your bubbling under. If you like that song, make sure you check out their new single Happy as well. Also, possibly this is a connection that was imagined due to the fact I started listening to them both at around the same time at the end of November, but I also recommend the similar sounding Let It All Out by COIN.
Hey Piran! I just recently checked out 'Wrong Direction', and I was actually quite surprised with how much I liked it! I don't think it's got any #1 potential for me, but I do definitely really like seeing it reach #1 over here! Is it likely to be a multi-week #1, or will this be its only week at the top? I also like seeing that debut for 'Six Feet Under', as I think it might actually be one of my favourite Billie Eilish songs, even if I'm not the biggest fan of the artist as a whole. I absolutely love the massive climb for 'Own It' to a new peak, and the re-entry for 'Don't Rush' and rebound for 'Post Malone' are both good to see as well! Seeing 'South of the Border' rebounding a small bit, and 'This Is Real', 'Lose Control' and 'We Got Love' re-entering is cool as well. It's also great to see 'Still Disappointed' topping your Bubbling Under chart, since I thought that it was a pretty good diss track. Great chart again! :D
Hey Gameskiller! :)
I'm pleased you liked 'Wrong Direction' a lot more than expected! Even though you mentioned that it's not reaching #1 over on your own chart, do you think it can still at least chart?
'Six Feet Under' is also my favourite Billie Eilish song, but with an Echosmith album bomb coming next week, it might struggle to reach the Top 10 after all unfortunately.
As for those other songs you mentioned, I don't see too many of them rebounding any more next week for the same reason, although 'Lose Control' would be the most likely to do so!
'Still Disappointed' is currently on track to debut next week, even if it won't be very high.
Thanks for the comment mate!
Hey Piran! 'Wrong Direction' at #1 is good to see, although not too surprising, haha! I love seeing 'Blinding Lights' in the top 10 still, even if it's dropping a bit, but what I really love is the huge climb for 'Own It' - glad that it's growing on you, after you didn't really seem into it at the start! I also love the re-entry for 'Don't Rush' a bit lower, as well as the ones for 'This Is Real' and 'Lose Control'! Amazing chart, as usual! :)
Hey Akyovbashiev! :)
I'm very happy to hear that you like seeing 'Wrong Direction' at #1 (I honestly thought this wouldn't be your style at all!), but it'll certainly be taking a drop in tomorrow's chart.
'Blinding Lights' actually has a lot of momentum at the moment, despite losing one position from last week. In fact, it might actually climb in the next chart despite an album bomb from Echosmith!
'Own It' might get a little further, but I'm still replaying other Stormzy songs more at the moment.
Of the three re-enrties you mentioned, 'Lose Control' is probably the most likely of them to gain next week!
Thanks for the comment mate! I'll check out yours now.
Hey Piran! Even though it only just lost to Roddy Ricch on my chart, I really love Wrong Direction at #1. In fact, I think Six Feet Under entering is what makes this chart as awesome as it is! I also love Wait For You taking a small step up in the the Top 5, the re-entries for This Is Real and Lose Control, as well as all the climbs, except Came for the Low, which was pretty meh to me. Absolutely incredible chart mate! Can't wait to hear your opinions on mine. ;)
