Marco Borsato steps into the Top 10 with his newest release De Bestemming, taken of his new album of the same name. The song is Marco Borsato his eighth single to become a Top 10-hit, following other successes such as Waarom Nou Jij and Vrij Zijn. His biggest hit to date is Wereld Zonder Jou, which spent five consecutive weeks above the list, and amassed over 90,000 points. Marco Borsato his newest single is aided by commercial success in the Netherlands, where it is a solid Top 10-hit and a possible new Number 1-hit. Haitian-American rapper Pras steps into the Top 10 with his newest hit single Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are). Pras Michel was one of the founding members of the highly successful rap formation the Fugees, further consisting of Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill. With the group, he scored the Number 1-hit Killing Me Softly; which as of late, received a 4 x Platinum Status. Pras Michel is the second ex-member of the Fugees to land a Top 10-hit, following Wyclef Jean this year. Pras Michel is aided by rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard on the couplets and by singer Mýa on the chorus. This week, Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are) peaks at Number 10.
Lil’ Kim scores the highest debut of the week. Lil’ Kim previously entered the charts with other high-profile female rappers on the Top 10-hit Not Tonight, but is now aided by Puff Daddy. Lil’ Kim and Puff Daddy are widely seen as one of the most influential hip hop and R&B-artists to date. Puff Daddy has entered the list many times before, having scored a Number 1-hit with I’ll Be Missing You earlier last year. This week, Lil’ Kim and Puff Daddy collaborate with No Time, debuting at Number 21.
Ultimate Kaos receive a Gold Certification for Casanova. The song became an international hit, climbing the charts in most European countries. On this list, the single spent one week above the list. Ultimate Kaos fought off competition from Madonna and Robbie Williams. As of this, week Casanova has amassed over 40,000 points.
