Seems like the "curse" has been broken, as Bruno Mars (and Cardi B) finally go #1 with "Finesse" (remix)!. This is Bruno's first #1 song ever on my chart, after "That's What I like" peaked at #2 in 2017. This is the third consecutive week for "Finesse" inside the Top 5, and second consecutive week inside the Top 3. "Dusk Till Dawn", last week's #1, drops three places as it loses in performance and drops to #4. "More Than You Know" and "Mama" climb as "Dawn" drops, as they both remain very strong in performance (definitely contending for #1). This is the tenth week for "Mama" inside the Top 3, it now only trails "Closer", which had 12 weeks inside the Top 3 and "Despacito" which had 11.
"Dreamer" by Axwell /\ Ingrosso is the highest debut of the week, debuting at #8, proving that the duo is very trendy for me right now! Like my chart wasn't competitive enough, now I got this song too xD. "Let Me Go" by Hailee Steinfeld & other people climbs 21 places (climber of the week!) and peaks at #9th. This song has a very good chance to go inside the Top 5 next week. I really love it. "Something Just Like This" by The Chainsmokers holds on to #10, marking its 24th week inside the Top 10 and 33rd week on the chart! t has now closed the gap to "Closer", which has 32 weeks inside the Top 10 and 39 total weeks.
Some other notable things on my chart this week: "Wolves" hit Top 5, "Perfect" climbs two places and is now the most successful Ed Sheeran song ever on my chart, "Without You" remains strong, "El Bano" loses 7 spots, "Starboy" remains strong, "Whatever It Takes" climbs 8 spots & peaks at #14, "Sick Boy" by The Chainsmokers debuts at #15, "Lonely Together" drops 9 spots, "Something's Gotta Give" by Camila debuts at #22, "I Feel It Coming" and "Feel It Still (lots of feelings!) both drop, now at #23 and #24. Debut for "Hola" by Flo Rida and Maluma debuts at #25, "Echame La Culpa" gains 10 spots, charts at #27 while "Despacito" loses 10 spots, charting at #28. "Closer" loses 11 places and now charts at #32, and currently, I doubt that it can get 52 weeks or a full year on my chart (39 weeks as of now). "Let You Down" debuts at #33 (it will climb), "Paris" and "Straight Up & Down" re-enter! The loser of the week goes to "rockstar", which drops from #13 to #40 and it's on its way out.
Fun Fact: I didn't think it was going to happen, but out of my Top 10 songs of 2017 - only "Mama" and "Something Just Like This" are still being inside the Top 10. I thought that those songs are going to stick a while for like 100 weeks at one moment, so I'm really happy to see new songs on the top!
Fun Fact #2: I think that Hailee Steinfeld is now the most successful female artist ever on my chart - since "Let Me Go" entered the Top 10. Reminder, "Starving" has peaked at #2 in February 2017. While some female artists were featured on some songs that went #1 (Halsey in Closer, for example) I think that no female artist was a lead artist in any Top 5 or even Top 10 song I had. So if "Let Me Go" reaches Top 5, and it probably will, Hailee Steinfeld will definitely be the most successful female artist on my chart ever. Kinda funny since those two songs are the only songs which I know from her :D
NOTE: "For You" did not debut, and "Without You" did not re-enter! Those songs were charting last week as well (For You drops like 12 places, and "Without You" went from 8 to 11!
Thank you guys for checking my chart and reading this (unless it was too long for you) :D
Rating 'Camila' – take this note, I'm writing this review while listening to the album for the first time, so don't be surprised if some of my opinions change when I post this (also the order I'm writing them is the order I listen to them)
1. Something's Gotta Give – the very first song (excluding the songs that got released previously) I've listened to on this album! This song left a great impression on the very first listen! After repeating it for a few times, I really started to like 'Something's Gotta Give'. This song made me even more excited to listen to the rest of the album! Rate: 9/10
2. Inside Out – since the moment melody started, I knew what I can expect from this song. The song is very entertaining, vocals are very solid as well. I think that instrumentals could be a bit better – I find the back drop a little bit childish, like it is from Mario Kart Xd. Nevertheless, it's a very fun song and I think that it's going to grow on me the more I listen to it. Rate: 7/10
3. All These Years – It' 2:45 minute run makes it the shortest song on the album – but that doesn't leave us with less good music! I think that 'All These Years' is a very good song, I like the beginning to middle part of the song the best, the near-end part is also a bit meh to me, but overall, another track on the album 'Camila'. Rate: 7/10
4. She Loves Control – So far my least-favorite song from the album. While it is still a good song, vocally, lyrically and instrumentally this is the worst overall song (in my opinion) so far I've heard on this album. Again, I still like the song, but since Camila already set the bar quite high – it's not as good J Rate: 6/10
5. Consequences – I loved the song from the first second. One of my favorite songs from the album – Camila's voice is beautiful in this song and the melody is following her rhythm very well. Rate: 8/10
6. Real Friends – Another very good song from this album. I find it very enjoyable. Lyrics are relatable to everyone – we all sometimes feel like the friends we've got are not having our back. Instrumentals are enjoyable as well, so this song success on pretty much all areas that are important to myself. Rate: 8/10
7. In The Dark – I enjoy the vocals and instrumentals of this song – while the lyrics are all together not outstanding in my opinion, they still are enjoyable. I have read what Camila has said about this song as well. As good as the album is, but I think that this song is pretty much an album-filler. Not a bad filler though! Rate: 7/10
8. Into It – Definitely one of my favorite songs on the album. Camila's voice in the pre-chorus is amazing. Very entertaining song and it success on my levels. That's why I don't have anything else to say about this song! Rate: 9/10
9. Never Be The Same – I like the song quite a lot. There's no part that stands out from the others, the whole song from the start to the finish line is enjoyable. Rate: 7.5/10
10. I Have Questions – I never knew that this song was a part of the „Crying In The Club“ video J Lyrics are very strong, melody is good, and this song feels personal! Love the song. 7/10
11. Havana – After listening to the full album, 'Havana' is still my favorite song from 'Camila'. That might change in the future though, as 'Havana' has edge over the other songs! Rate: 9/10
Overall: 7.6/10
I've certainly enjoyed 'Camila'! I think that couple of tracks from this album could make it to my personal charts! I'm very happy that I've listened to this album. Camila is an incredibly talented artist and this album only made me more excited to what future has got for her – something bright for sure! Let me know what you guys think about 'Camila'! J

Hey Piran! Thank you for commenting. I really appreciate that you love my chart! :D. It's great to see that we have the same #1 song this week, even better that it's "Finesse"! If I'm being right, this is the third time we've shared the same #1 at the same time - the first time was "Something Just Like This" in March 2017 and the second time was "Despacito" in June 2017! I have to correct you here - Hailee is not my favorite all-time female artist, but she's the most successful female artist on my chart :) I quite like her music, though. I definitely have to check out other music of her. And then, who knows, she might be my all-time favorite female artist :). "Whatever It Takes" has quite good chances to go inside the Top 10. The only thing standing on its way is the unreal competition - hitting Top 10 really means something these days on my chart! I'm glad you pretty much like all of my new entries - the favorite being "Something's Gotta Give". I'm excited to see how these new songs will chart in the future. Glad you love to see "Paris" again. It is on its way to 52 weeks on my chart! It will be quite hard, but I'm fairly confident that it can stick in 30's for a while! Thanks for a positive feedback on my review of "Camila", I've checked yours as well and I'm glad that we agree with most of the songs! Sorry for late comment, I didn't have time to comment back! Thanks again for commenting and I can't wait to talk to you again :)

Hey RandomGuy! another really cool chart from you, I love seeing Finesse at #1 and the climbs for Let Me Go, Wolves, Perfect and Echame La Culpa, as well as the debuts for Sick Boy, I Like Me Better, Something's Gotta Give and Let You Down!
I also really enjoyed reading your 'Camila' review! I agree it is an amazing album! if you want to see my review, click on this link: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/the-greatest-showman-denies-ca…
i look forward to seeing if any other Camila tracks enter your chart! (oh by the way, I Have Questions isn't on the album lol. it was a promotional single a while ago but didn't quite make the cut)

Hey Calum! Thanks for commenting! :D. I'm very happy that you are enjoying my charts! I'm glad you love my #1, debuts and climbers! I've read your review of "Camila" and I agree with many things you've said! Thank you for correcting me regarding "I Have Questions". Looking forward for your next chart and thank you again for commenting! See you.

You said that this is Bruno's first chart topper on your chart with "Finesse". On mine, the only #1 he had was "That's What I Like" and that only lasted for a week. Yet, it currently holds the record for most weeks spent in the top 10 (26 weeks) on my chart. That's why it was my #1 year-end song by a large margin over "Kissing Strangers" by DNCE ft Nicki Minaj. Like I told Piran, I still "Finesse" being #1 after Grammys because that new Drake song it's actually not a guarantee of debuting #1 since it has zero radio and almost no YouTube. Even if it does reach #1 even after Grammys, "Finesse" would still be a potential threat in the long run. I wouldn't even be surprised if it reigns longer than "That's What I Like".
Aside from your #1, I enjoy "Dusk Till Dawn", "Wolves", "Perfect", and "Let Me Go". As for the rest of your chart, I like "Starboy", "Whatever It Takes", "Sick Boy", "Good Life", "Havana", "Castle on the Hill", "Feel It Still", the original version of "Despacito", "That's What I Like", "Closer", "Let You Down", "Unforgettable", "Paris", "What About Us", and "Straight Up & Down".

Hi MrMcCloud, thank you for checking my chart :). Yup, this is Bruno's first #1 for me, and that's strange! It's cool to hear that "That's What I Like" had 26 weeks inside your Top 10 & was #1 overall in 2017! As for me, "That's What I Like" so far has 31 weeks total on my chart, which is one of the longest streaks ever, had 20 weeks inside my Top 10. Only "Closer" (32w) and "Something Just Like This (24w) have more. I'm excited to see how "Finesse" will do in the future of both of our charts! Glad you love that many songs from my charts as well! Thank you again for commenting, I really appreciate and it can't wait for your next chart!

Hello RandomGuy!
"Finesse" being #1 is great!
I also like the big gains of "Let Me Go" and "Echame La Culpa"!
And for the debuts, I like "Dreamer", "I Like Me Better", "Something's Gotta Give" and "Let You Down"!
Great chart overall!

Hey Sergej! Thank you very much for commenting my chart! Glad you like my #1, as well as big gains for "Let Me Go" and "Echame La Culpa". I'm happy that you love my debuts, as I love them very much! Thank you for the positive feedback on my chart and I can't wait for your next chart! See you soon!

Wow finally Bruno got that #1! I'm glad that he finally did it on your chart! It's cool that That's What I Like is still charting while SU&D just re-entered. Elsewhere your top 10 looks great, but my least favorite song has to be Dreamer, but still, it's a 5/10 only. I like seeing new peaks for Wolves, Perfect, Let Me Go and Whatever It Takes. Sick Boy, I Like Me Better and For You are my favorite new entries here. It's cool that Hailee is probably becoming the top female artist on your chart. You should listen to her songs Love Myself and Rock Bottom feat. DNCE, I'm sure you'll like it too. As for your Camila review, I haven't fully listened to the album, but I love Never Be The Same, Havana, Into It and Real Friends. Not feeling Consequences, though. It's interesting that people seem to be very polarizing on She Loves Control: it's either the best track on the album or the worst one! Hope you can check my chart soon, friend! See you.

Hey Ines! Thank you for commenting! I agree it's awesome that Bruno finally got #1, "Finesse" is fire, but with this strong competition I don't think it could hold to #1 for longer than two weeks! We'll see, though. I'm glad you love my Top 10, but I'm sad that you don't like "Dreamer". Seems like many people don't love it. Personally, I think that it's awesome. I'm a big fan of Axwell /\ Ingrosso since their work in Swedish House Mafia. I've found out that those two still work together only last year, and it's like you reunite with your best friend after years! As long as these two release music together, they will place high on my chart. Another juggernaut on my chart in the making? :). Maybe. You'll be happy to hear then that "Wolves" and "Perfect" will stick inside the Top 10 for another few weeks, while "Let Me Go" and "Whatever It Takes" got quite high chance to go inside the Top 10 in next coming weeks! Yeah, Hailee is pretty cool, but as I've said, I only know "Starving" and "Let Me Go". I'll definitely check out those songs you've mentioned and let you know what I think about them :) I definitely agree with you about "She Loves Control", people have mixed opinions on it. I don't like it very much. What about you?

I actually like Axwell Ingrosso, it's just Dreamer that didn't do anything for me. But I would love them to reunite with Steve Angello and bring Swedish House Mafia back!
Well, I haven't listened to SLC yet, but as soon as I do I'll tell you what I think.

Amazing chart as usual mate! :)
The best part is seeing us have the same #1 song this week & that Bruno finally got his first #1 on your chart.
Elsewhere, I love hearing the news that Hailee Steinfeld is your favourite female artist of all-time & that 'Let Me Go' soared into the Top 10!
'Whatever It Takes' nearing the Top 10 is cool too.
As for your new entries, here's my rating of them: 'Dreamer' (6/10), 'Sick Boy' (8/10), 'I Like Me Better' (7/10), 'Something's Gotta Give' (9/10), 'Hola' (6/10), 'For You' (7/10) & 'Let You Down' (8/10), so I like every one of them!
I'm also a fan of all of the re-entries, especially the return of 'Paris'.
I love your review of 'Camila' & I mostly agree with everything you had to say about it, although the UK version had a radio edit of 'Never Be The Same' instead of 'I Have Questions'. I'll be posting my review on the BB200 article tonight, as well as on the Official Charts' albums chart article page shortly after!
Have an enjoyable Sunday night.
