Hey Sergej! Thanks for commenting as usual. :)
Well as my predictions show, this could be the last week at #1 for 'Sorry Not Sorry', but I'm pleased to hear that you enjoy all of the new entries & all of them should climb next week!
Regarding 'Burden Down', I watch a YouTube channel called ChartExpress & every Friday, they post the Top 50 singles chart for Germany & I noticed that it was minor hit there. I liked the snippet of it, so I checked out the song in full & I loved it even more with a few listens.
I'm pleased to hear that you like my new chart & I can't wait for your next one!
I hope you have a good week too.

Yikes, that loss for Break a Little. Not too pleased seeing #1 in the predictions. I do like seeing Back To You and Switch climb.

Yeah, I knew you'd be sad to see 'Break A Little' fall so hard, but it's been performing consistently well for a couple of months now & it'll probably make the Top 10 of my Year-End list, but I felt like I needed newer music near the top of my charts. You'll notice that's the same reason why 'Unpredictable' also experienced a huge loss this week.
'Friends' isn't guaranteed to debut at #1, as 'What About Us' is still a contender, but the former is much more likely at this point!
Regarding 'Back To You' & 'Switch', both are expected to remain fairly stationary going into next week.

Glad to see "More Than Friends" entering your charts. I unfortunately had to leave it out this week in order to make some room.

Thanks for commenting on my chart as usual! :)
You'll be happy to hear that 'More Than Friends' should be climbing a few places on my next chart.
I'll check out yours now!

I see Sorry Not Sorry at your #1 this week! It was going to reach #1 on my chart but she got blocked by Usher by like, one play, lol.
Hope Back to You reaches your top ten, since besides ZAYN, Louis is my favorite 1D member right now. But then again, I don't know if I'll getting 1D as a band. (I prefer them separate)
I see those two new Camila songs in your top 5. I really like Havana, but I find OMG to be a bit annoying. I don't know, maybe it can grow on me, later.

Aw... it was that close!
Well 'Back To You' should hit my Top 10 & it might even have a chance to do so by the time my next chart posts.
I'm pleased to hear that you at least like 'Havana'!
Regarding the 1D members, it would be between Niall & Harry for my favourite at the moment.
See you on the Hot 100 article later!

Hello! So good to see "Sorry Not Sorry" at the top spot as well as some songs climbing (Especially "New Rules", "Havana", "Switch", "Miracles" and "Fast Car") and "What About Us" with "More Than Friends" entering to the chart! Can't wait for next chart!

Well this will be the last week at #1 for 'Sorry Not Sorry', but it still got two weeks at #1 which is good! :)
Of those other songs you mentioned: 'Fast Car', 'What About Us' & 'More Than Friends' will be the most likely ones to climb.
Thanks for your comment as usual & I hope you had a nice week!

I like Sorry not Sorry :) Also it's great that Back To You, Wild Thoughts and Feels are rising. Awesome chart :D

Thanks for the comment Jarek! :)
This will probably be the last week at #1 for 'Sorry Not Sorry' while 'Feels' probably won't go any higher than where it is now, but I think 'Back To You' & 'Wild Thoughts' might climb a bit more before they peak.
I'm pleased to hear that you liked my chart & I'll check out yours soon!

Hey Piran!! Great to see you, buddy:) I actually wanted to get to Hot 100 article tonight, but I've stuck at the court once again & decided to improve my free throw shooting :) Regarding Hot 100, it's very cool to see 'Despacito' getting the 15th week at #1 and I hope it breaks 'One Sweet Day' record. I think that some of the songs that got 14 weeks are more deserving of that title. Such as 'I Will Always Love You', 'Uptown Funk' or 'I Gotta Feeling'. However it's always great to see history happening and at least a good catchy song might get the record and not some rap shit. Now, regarding your chart :) It's cool to see 'Sorry Not Sorry' at #1. I've heard the song not long time ago and I think that it's quite solid!! It's great to see massive climb once again from 'New Rules' & guess I'm now really the only one amongst my friend here who doesn't have it charting (Y'all have it like #1 or #2 xD). It's great to see two Camila songs inside the Top 5 as well & is one of them going to get to #1?? I love the P!nk debut and I've heard the song as well and I think that it's good!! 'Subeme La Radio' is still my favorite Top 10 song and I'm surprised to see a big drop from 'Break A Little' :) I'm very happy to see 'Fast Car' still gaining. To be honest, I thought it would drop after one week :)) Other songs I like: 'Something Just Like This', 'Mama', 'I'm The One', '2U', 'Versace On The Floor', 'Honest', 'Thunder', 'Wild Thoughts', 'Despacito' AND more!! I also took a look at your throwback chart :) It's great to see 'Bleeding Love' as it's a song I really love as well & I see it often in your throwback chart as well!!! One last question, have you ever heard of Big Time Rush and have you listened to any of their music?? I'm only 16 and 5-6 years ago when they still had a TV show on Nickelodeon I've listened to a LOT of their music so I was wondering this out :)) I hope you have a great start of the week and I'll see you soon I guess!! My chart will be done tonight by the way :)

Good to see you too RandomGuy! :)
Well I think your wish may come true regarding 'Despacito', as the only way I can see it stopped before 17 weeks is if Taylor releases something this Friday! If not, then 'Bodak Yellow' will be the next #1, but that'll be too late to stop 'Despacito' from breaking 'One Sweet Day's record.
I agree with you that those other songs that you mentioned which spent 14 weeks at #1 deserve the record more!
I'm happy to hear that you like the #1 on my chart! Regarding the Camila singles, I don't see either hitting #1, but 'Havana' is the more likely of the two to do it if it does happen.
Of those other songs that you mentioned, the following will be likely to gain on my next chart: 'Fast Car', 'Versace On The Floor' & 'Wild Thoughts', as well as the P!NK debut which my Top 10 predictions show!
I have heard of Big Time Rush & I like a lot of their music, but not quite enough for them to make my main chart.
Thanks! I hope you have a nice week too & I'll comment on your new chart tomorrow when I get home from work. I look forward to checking it out!

(: Woah, 17 weeks, is a lot man!!! But the direction Hot 100 is heading to last few years - with all those big No.1's such as Uptown Funk, See You Again, Work, Hello, Shape Of You, Despacito, just to name a few, I think that Despacito's record might even be broken in a 2-3 years if not less. Thoughts?? I hope 'Bodak Yellow' will get a short stint at #1 because I don't like the song at all. Yeah what about Taylor Swift? I know you said that she's your favorite artist!! I didn't hear anything official or anything about her new music, but it's been like 3 years since 'Shake It Off' and '1989' & I've heard rumours about her new music so I hope it will finally be delivered! I'm glad to hear that those songs I like are most likely going to gain on your next chart!! I've also seen that 'Friends' is projected to be the #1 debut next week. I've heard the song and I think that it's solid & nothing too outstanding though. I'd be happy that it could be your next #1 song :) Good to see that you like BTR music but they haven't been active since 2013 when the show stopped :)

I think it might take a bit longer than 2-3 years, but I definitely see 'Despacito' being passed within say the next 10, but probably not by very much!
I don't like 'Bodak Yellow' either & forget a short stint at the top... I don't really want it at #1 at all to be honest.
Well there's going to be an announcement on new music from her on Good Morning America on August 31 apparently, but she returned to social media very fast & weirdly, posted a clip of some snake or other reptile or something, so who knows... maybe it's the teaser for her new video? Anyway, unless her new single is really disappointing, I definitely see it debuting at #1 on my chart!
I see you've posted a new chart, so I'll leave a comment there soon.
- Log in to post comments
Yeah I wish 'Bodak Yellow' doesn't get to the top at all either...I'd fancy 'Unforgettable' at #1 but that's quite unlikely to happen :( Well announcement about her new music on August 31 means at least one more week for Despacito...actually she needs to release something this or next week to stop it from breaking the record. I saw the video clip as well and looks like a video clip of a snake I agree! Might be the album cover :) I remember when Bruno announced '24k Magic' by posting several pictures on Instagram and it was just before I had to go to school and I was going places!!! It felt so good especially after I was stalking his Twitter for like two years just to hear something new from him (I don't use Twitter at all). Anyways what are your expectations about Taylor's album? I'm not talking about charts since it should probably do as usual over there, but quality wise. Do you think Taylor will deliver something new or continue from '1989' point? Personally, I liked '1989' album so I hope that she continues in that rhythm but two-three different songs would be cool too!! Thanks for commenting my chart too:)
- Log in to post comments
Well I guess you are going pretty wild right now Piran, as Taylor's single is out tomorrow night!! :)) Album out November 10 called 'Reputation' with a cover of a snake...I love how Taylor is making a profit from hate :) This a really big blow to all the haters!!
- Log in to post comments
Well, my 'wildest dreams' have come true! This is proof that Taylor's never going out of 'style'! There's a 'blank space' for women in chart right now, but with 'Despacito, Taylor will be the one to 'shake it off' the top spot. :)
Haha! I think this is the most excited I've been this year by far! The 'Reputation' era begins tomorrow, so it's looking very highly likely that we might have a #1 this Sunday on my personal chart that wasn't even the Top 10 of my predictions!
Of course, the record time at the top on my chart for a song is 12 weeks, so the lead single for her next album is going to have to be something phenomenal to challenge that. However, guess who has the current record for me... Taylor herself, with 'Love 'Story'.
I saw so many troll comments to her saying that she was a snake, so maybe this is her response to that? Like you said, using hate to her advantage is what she does best!
- Log in to post comments
Hahaha I love this!! I totally understand your excitement :) I'm looking forward to your new #1 as well...wish we'd know the name of the single!! But I'm very excited to hear it & I'm wondering where it will be placed on my future charts. I like Taylor, but it's now a well-known fact that female artists do not succeed much on my personal chart especially as solo artists. So I think that if Taylor single goes inside Top 10, that that is a massive success :)) But what about 'Friends'? Will it still debut at #2 at least? :) Yeah you've told me about 12 weeks for 'Love Story' and that it's the longest #1 by a mile :) But hey, Taylor's album is coming out like November 10 so that's like 10 weeks for the new single to lead and if you'll like it much I can actually see it being 2nd longest #1 of all time at your charts :) I agree that it's definitely a response to haters from Taylor about snake comments & it's so cool how she response to them :)
- Log in to post comments
Haha! It's so funny to think that I don't even know the name of the song that could be #1 for me in three days.
What has Taylor's highest peaking song been in your charts then & where did it peak?
'Friends' will certainly debut at #2 though! It had a reasonably big lead all week before the news about Taylor broke!
Well we'll see what happens about her new single on my charts & who knows... maybe she can replace herself at #1 eventually?
Do you have any of her albums then?
- Log in to post comments
So now that the single is out what do you think of it? :) Is it gonna go #1? Well, you know that I've been doing my personal charts only since late March this year, so the only song charting from Taylor was 'Style' but now that I've changed the rules of my chart (no old songs) it's not charting anymore. 'Style' still is my favorite Tay song!! I left my thoughts about the newest single in my other comment by the way :) I'm glad you like 'Friends' too & it debuted it #30s for me!! I don't have any of her albums & in fact, only albums I got are the three Bruno Mars albums...since he's the only artists I love that much to buy actual copies of it. A young guy like me has a tons of things to spend money on & wish I had more because then I'd have a collection of albums :DD
- Log in to post comments
Well I wasn't impressed at first listen to be honest, but after repeating it a few times, I'm now addicted!
It's definitely a side of Taylor that I never expected to see & judging by the line after the middle eight, she's staying that way. As for the hook, there might not be very much to it, but it's sure catchy.
Regarding your new rule, when you say "old songs", how old do they have to be to become ineligible to chart for you?
- Log in to post comments
Yeah, I don't think 'Unforgettable' will get to #1 at this point either, but it much better than I expected it to by peaking in the Top 3!
Well Taylor did just that & her next single is out tomorrow night! That means that 'Despacito' will likely tie 'One Sweet Day's record, but not pass it.
Regarding 'Reputation', I think she'll most stick with what she did in '1989', but I feel like her the stories behind each song are going to be more general messages & while she'll write tracks on her personal life (mostly still her love life), I think there might even be a little bit of pop-rock in there too, Some are saying that she might go back to her country roots, but I don't see that happening unfortunately.
Anyway, I'm sure it's going to be amazing regardless!
- Log in to post comments
Well, to be honest, I think that the only reason why 'Unforgettable' peaked at #3 is that most songs inside the Top 10 are so old. Yeah now it's a shaky battle for #1!! 'Despacito' should tie 'One Sweet Day' but probably shouldn't break it. I hope it gets 17 weeks and then gets dethroned though.I never liked 'One Sweet Day' holding the record. Mariah fans pretty much hate on everything that becomes popular because it's not 'worthy' to break her holy record. It's been at the top for two decades I think it's pretty damn time for something else to come on top. And at the end records are meant to be broken! Besides, Boyz II Men do not get the recognition on 'One Sweet Day' & people act like it's just Mariah. Do you like country Taylor or more pop Taylor?
- Log in to post comments
That's probably it! With those older songs, radio is so fast to pick up on them, but airplay takes a very long time to fade. That's why we've had hits like 'Closer' & 'Shape Of You' inside the Top 40 for like seven months!
'One Sweet Day' will definitely be passed soon though given how huge 'Despacito' has been & still is! I don't know if we'll see anything match its success this decade, but definitely within the next few years.
I would say that I prefer country Taylor, mostly for her far better production. That said, I completely understand why she wanted to go mainstream & from 'Red' to '1989', she's shown that she can improve in pop according to most critics, so we'll see if she can continue that with 'Reputation' (& I'm sure she will)!
Do you prefer Taylor's country music or her pop music?
- Log in to post comments
I think that you're right about the first part. I like both Taylor & but judging by the new single I'm guessing that Taylor is gone now :) 'Red' vs '1989' though, I take 'Red'!! I've listened to the new single too. I like it, but for me, the song feels too personal xD I really like the pre-chorus, but I'm disappointed with the chorus. So overall, I like the song, but I think that she could've done the better job with the chorus & with that being said I can't wait to hear what the rest of her album is like :)

hey what's up mate...is this your chart from sunday? real sorry but i was working all day sunday. anyway, demi lovato gets your top spot? cool! anything new happen on the uk charts?
- Log in to post comments
Hey Sunshine Gal! Thanks as usual for the comment. :)
Yeah, this is my chart from Sunday, but this will probably be the last week at #1 for 'Sorry Not Sorry'!
What do you think of my predictions & throwbacks then?
In the UK charts, Dua Lipa earned her first ever #1 with 'New Rules', P!NK's new single called 'What About Us' debuted at #5 & could climb a bit further, while Louis earned his second Top 10 hit with 'Back To You'.
I'll see you on Disqus a bit later!
- Log in to post comments
Hey Piran, great chart as always! great to see Demi stay at #1, and Camila Cabello appearing twice in the top 4! also really happy to see Dua Lipa at #2! great to see climbs for Back To You, Get Low, Sun Comes Up, I Like Me Better and more, and debuts for P!nk and James Hype! I will get over to your next chart now, and I hope you like the one I just put up! :)
- Log in to post comments
Thanks a lot for commenting Calum! :)
Well this should be Demi's last week at the top for me & while 'OMG' might be falling quite a bit now, 'Havana' should stick around for a bit longer.
'New Rules' could easily get a couple of months inside my Top 10 in total & I think all of those other songs you mentioned except 'Get Low' haven't even peaked yet!
Both of those debuts move up on my next chart too.
I'll get to your new chart in a few minutes & I hope you like my next one as well!
- Log in to post comments
Fantastic chart as always Piran!
Sorry Not Sorry being #1 is good, New Rules being your #2 is outstanding, love that song!
What About Us debuting is good, even though not great.
As for your other new entries:
More Than Friends is good
and Burden Down is great, I'm surprised that you have discovered this song, I would like to know how you did it!
The bubbling under and throwback charts are great as well!
Have a great week and I'll see you soon!
