Chart

Piran's Top 50

No early predictions in full for next week, but Doja Cat is currently leading the race for #1 with 'Say So'! It'll be a close battle between 'Someday' & 'Summer Feelings' for the top debut (both of which are heading for at least a Top 10 placing). We could also see anywhere between 10 & 20 Eurovision songs lower down in the chart!

Albums chart to be revealed on Headline Planet tomorrow night.

Hi Piran!
Nice to see "Goliath" at #1, I also like that "Say So" and "Be Kind" reach the top 3, as well as "Savage" reaching the top 10.
The huge gains for "ROCKSTAR", "In Your Eyes" and "Physical" and the debuts for "Secrets" and "Six Feet Apart"!
I hope that "GOOBA" won't be huge, personally I don't like 6ix9ine and I don't like this song.
Still, great chart as always!

Hey Sergej! :)
Glad you like the new #1! It might be at the top again next week, but I'd currently favour 'Say So' thanks to the Nicki Minaj & Japanese remixes of it, along with the original, which is amazing in its own right.
'Be Kind' might not get any higher because of that reason, but I do see it sticking around in the Top 10 for at least a few weeks!
'Savage' should be peaking soon, but I think 'Physical' & 'Secrets' will fall back a little next week! That being said, we should see: 'Rockstar', 'In Your Eyes', 'Six Feet Apart' all rise to new peaks in the next chart.
Regarding 'Gooba', it's here because I really like the production as a whole, especially the beat! 6ix9ine's delivery is also fine when he tries his Latin flow & I don't even mind the intensity he brings until it gets annoying. Of course, there are still problems here like the pathetic content & I'll never be able to support 6ix9ine as a person after everything he's done, but I've got to be honest & it's just my opinion, this is nowhere near as bad as I was expecting from him at all!
Nice to hear you like the chart as a whole though.
Chat to you on the new OCC chart tomorrow night!

It's great to see Goliath at the top! It gives me Without You by Avicii mixed with Of Monsters and Men which I love. It's also great to see secrets and stuck with you debuting and In Your Eyes rising. However, I'm not happy about GOOBA debuting- it probably is his best song but I can't find pleasure listening to it when I know the person behind it. I am conflicted about Say So- I like the original version but I hope it doesn't go to number 1 off the Nicki Minaj remix - in my opinion Nicki's verse is not good... Otherwise, great chart as usual!

Hey Oobling! :)
I agree with the comparisons to both acts you mentioned! I love how it's ultimate a pop-folk anthem, but also incorporates some dance elements in it to, but the lyrics are what really won me over, along with that powerful hook.
'Secrets', 'Stuck With You' & 'In Your Eyes' should all remain fairly steady in the next chart, with the possibility of the latter rising a little!
Yeah, 'Gooba' is actually decent for a 6ix9ine song, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still a horrible human being & that this probably won't last beyond this week on my charts.
'Say So' is probably hitting #1 on my chart, but it would be mostly thanks to the original, with the Nicki Minaj & Japanese remixes assisting it!
Thanks for the comment.
I'll check yours out now!

Hie Piran hope you ok
Great to see number 1 as unpopular song as on my own chart too unpopular I guess your number 1 is definitely folk music! I will have to check it out! Goliathope
. Love seeing new entries "Gooba " Stuck With U ", "Secrets",""Dinner Guest "

happy to see the gains for "Physical" " Don't Rush ","In Your Eyes,"Break Up Song ",

And I see "Back to December " very old song it shows true love for an artist " topping only now!
And in the top 10 I see jumps from Doja Cat & Halsey competing any chance to the top ?

Hey Brandy! :)
Yeah, 'Goliath' was only a very brief hit in Sweden, but if you like most pop-folk songs, then I think you'll enjoy this too! I'd say in terms of production, it's a cross between Avicii & Of Monster And Men, but it's the anthemic hook & inspirational lyrics that really win me over here.
As for next week, 'Say So' is currently leading the race to be #1, but 'Be Kind' should hold stable!
There'll also be a small Eurovision takeover lower down in the chart, following BBC's four-part special last night.
Thanks for the comment!

Hey Piran! It's great to see 'Say So' climb up to #2 this week to match its peak, with 'Be Kind' making an ever bigger climb to a new peak of #3! It's also cool to see 'Blinding Lights' rebounding lower down in the Top 10, and 'Flowers' rebounding just outside of it. I also really love that 'ROCKSTAR', 'Don't Rush' and 'In Your Eyes' all make fairly significant climbs to new peaks, with the former reaching the Top 20! That big rebound for 'Physical' is great to see, as are the debuts for 'Stuck with U' and 'Dinner Guest' further down! It's also great to hear that 'Say So' is currently set to go to #1 next week. Great chart again! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
Yeah, 'Say So' is probably going all the way to #1 at last next week, but 70% of that song's performance is coming from the Nicki Minaj now.
'Be Kind' will remain fairly stable next week as a couple of debuts are set to disrupt the Top 10, along with a potential one or two Eurovision songs being able to re-enter that high!
'Rockstar' will take another big ascent next week, maybe even into the Top 10! I was pleasantly surprised to see atop the UK charts this week.
I think 'Don't Rush' & 'In Your Eyes' will fall back down slightly in the next chart!
Thanks for the comment as usual.
Stay safe!

Ugh at "GOOBA" debuting. Cool to see the Japanese version "Say So" chart though, as well as the original at #2, I suppose.

Sorry for not replying. Was busy for a lot of the week.

Hey Naos! :)
That's alright! I understand that you still have to travel to work, so don't worry about not being on here as often.
'Gooba' will make a small gain again next week unfortunately, although I don't support 6ix9ine as a person in the slightest!
The Japanese version of 'Say So' will fall a lot next week, but I think the original is heading for #1 (even if most of its points are coming from the Nicki Minaj remix at this point).
Then again, speaking of Doja Cat, the remix of 'In Your Eyes' is so good, that she'll probably be replacing herself at the top next week, haha!
Thanks for the comment.
