Its been a close battle all this week, with every song in the top 5 being at #1 at some stage in the midweeks, but in the end The National grasp the #1. The Phoebe Bridgers assisted 'This Isn't Helping' climbs 37 spots to the top spot to become the bands first #1 and Phoebe's 2nd after she got last years christmas #1 with 'So Much Wine'. Said track had a similarly large jump to #1 when it flew up 40 spots in Christmas week. Taylor Swift grabs the runner-up with 'The Moment I Knew (Taylor's Version)', could it belatedly reach the top spot like 'You're Not Sorry' did earlier this year? There's a big new entry at #3: the latest Fast & Furious soundtrack single this time by YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Dermot Kennedy & Bailey Zimmerman. 'Won't Back Down' makes a welcome return to the top 10 for Dermot, but is a first appearance in the chart for the other two artists. Mimi Webb slips to to #4 with 'Last Train To London (I Won't Look Back)' and RAYE & Coi Leray are at #5 with 'Flip A Switch.'
In an ever-busy week there is lots of movement in the rest of the top 10. 'Praising You' is at #6. Amy McDonald debuts at #7 with 'This Is The Life' after its recent virality, and its a special one for me because this song (as well as others from Amy) made up a lot of my childhood as my dad is a big fan, so seeing this song have its moment is just amazing. Off the back of her first top 10 single, Lola Young gets herself a 2nd with 'Money' at #8, and rounding off an incredibly busy top 10, Avril Lavigne returns to the top 10 for the 9th time, this time on the ILLENIUM track 'Eyes Wide Shut'. The track also gives Travis Barker his first chart credit, though its definitely not his first appearance in the chart, producing and providing drums for much of Avril's smash album 'Love Sux'
And it doesn't stop there... (sorry for the essay lmao i'll fully understand if this doesn't get read) 'All Too Well' re-enters at #17. Don't ask why because I don't even know, I've just been playing it loads. GAYLE enters at #20 with latest single 'dont call me pretty' and Taylor & Phoebe Bridgers' 'Nothing New' re-enters at a new peak of #22 after the pair performed it at the Eras Tour. 'Cate's Brother' is back in at #31 a year after it debuted at the top spot (that week was as hectic as this one lol, must be something in the air 2nd week of may!) Lana has 2 in: 'Happiness is a butterfly' at #34 (blame tiktok) & 'Peppers' is back in at #38. 'Anti-Hero' also re-enters at #46, Coi Leray gets a 2nd solo chart entry at #49 with 'Bops' and Kesha's return 'Fine Line' cuts the fine line into the top 50 at #50. Wow what a week!

Hi there Conor!
Nice to see a return for "Anti-Hero" and the big highlight for me is "This Is The Life" debuting in your chart. When I go through my 2008 chart archives, this was a huge hit for Amy on my charts, mostly because it was a huge hit in Germany. Still listen to it to this day and a radio classic that I adore.
Great chart!
