Must Have Been the Wind retakes the top spot with Woke Up In The Hills climbing right behind. Next week will be a close finish between Must Have Been the Wind, Woke Up In The Hills and Senorita, which debuts at 5 this week.

Mid Year Update

On my current Mid Year Crownote leaderboard, The Killing Kind by Marianas Trench has a sizable lead, followed by Dark by Lael, If I Killed Someone For You by Alec Benjamin, If I Can't Have You by Shawn Mendes and New Cold War by JAXSON GAMBLE. However, with If I Can't You still at number 3, it has a strong shot at the year end number 1. Similarly, current number 4 Love Again by New Hope Club is at number 11 on my 2019 leaderboard.

Over on Last.fm, my most played song of 2019 so far is (to my surprise) Locked And Loaded by Lael, which was released in 2016 but I only discovered this year. Behind that is New Cold War, The Killing Kind and Shut Up by Greyson Chance.

Greyson Chance's album Portraits is currently my favourite album of 2019, being my 2nd most played and most liked album. It was a slow burner for me, not album bombing when it was originally released. Behind Portraits is Phantoms by Marianas Trench and Mystic Truth by Bad Suns, all having a sizable lead over 4th place You Are OK by The Maine. However, more recent releases, like Tim By Avicii and ORION by X Ambassadors has a chance of overtaking them (though I doubt they will). Marianas Trench's Phantoms has had the biggest album bomb of the year so far, being the only album to have every song chart. Despite being released in 2018, Alec Benjamin's album Narrated For You is my most played album of 2019 so far. I'd recommend listening to Portraits by Greyson Chance to any pop fan, particularly if you like artists like Shawn Mendes or Alec Benjamin.

My top artist of 2019 so far is Marianas Trench, followed by Bad Suns, Lael, Greyson Chance and Avicii.

There are a lot of songs here I still need to check out, so I can't really say too much unfortunately, but I do like 'Must Have Been The Wind' reaching #1, as well as the debut for 'Now You're Gone'.
My favourite part of your chart this week, however, is the Top 5 debut for 'Senorita', making it the highest new entry of the week!

Thanks for the comment Piran Delves! I didn't expect you to know a lot of the songs on my chart, there is significant amounts of indie and the rest of the chart is filled with various boybands. Out of all the artists who are big on my chart, the one I would reccommend the most for a pop fan is Greyson Chance. His album Portraits is my favourite of the year so far.
