Hi, thanks for checking out my chart, and I'm glad you like it! (I did have my doubts, to be honest, haha)
#5 is a Bulgarian song (I'm from Bulgaria, so figures) and it's a pop-folk song - this is a genre that's very frowned upon here, for reasons similar to why some dislike hip-hop music ("provocative" texts, videos, so on). I personally listen to all types of music, regardless of genre (as is evident from this chart), but whatever you think of pop-folk, this is a beautiful song - the title translates to "I had told you", and it's about moving on from a heartbreak.
Meanwhile, #6 is, in fact, a Russian song - Russian music is very popular here too, for obvious reasons. This particularly is a hip-hop song with club vibes (I'm not aware if Era Istrefi actually managed to break into the UK scene, she had a very big song a couple of years ago "Bonbon", you might have heard it! She's not actually Russian though, so her part is in English) The title means "Goodbye baby", it's very upbeat and I instantly fell in love with it.
Regarding the Mabel entries, I haven't updated my archives for some time between August and September, which is when Mabel released her album, and it did what I can only assume is the biggest album bomb in my entire history of personal chart creation - just counting it now, she had 19 entries in the top 40 - her entire album was in (including the interludes, haha).
Finally, I'm not really sure what I think of the D-Block Europe entries either, I'm giving the two songs some time to hopefully grow on me, on the hip-hop side I usually stay away from trap but I guess time will tell with these guys - again, it's a darn shame, because "Kitchen Kings" peaked at #10 for me after a steady upwards climb back in April, I really liked that for some reason, lol!
You have me intrigued now, I have got to check out your chart (which I will do shortly, promise!)

Hey Crystal! I've started following you, and one of the reasons is because of this awesome chart! Professor X climbing to #1 is great to see. It's interesting to also see Bulgarian songs in the chart, but what I love a lot more are the climbs for Buss Down, God is a Dancer, Sounds of the Skeng, and Don't Call Me Angel! Awesome chart, glad seeing someone who's interested in mostly hip-hop! :D

Hey coolocelot101, thank you for your nice comments regarding my chart! I'm glad we're both really enjoying 'Professor X' because it's a really nice tune, personally it kind of reminds me of 'Funky Friday' in a way, which I also really loved! All the songs you mentioned are very likely to see gains in my next chart, as they're what I've been mostly listening to in the past week, so keep an eye out for them! In the meantime, I'll check out your chart, as I have a feeling I'll really like it too!

Hello CrystalTop40!
I came across your chart from one of my chart friends Piran and wow, I like the diversity in your chart!
First of all, "God Is A Dancer" hitting the top 10 is great, as well as the gains for "Buss Down", "Finders Keepers", "Sounds of the Skeng", and "Don't Call Me Angel".
And finally, I kinda like "Sayonara Детка" too. Also fun fact: it is a cover of the german song "Was Du Liebe Nennst" by Bausa, it's a well known rap song where I live (in Germany) and it spend many weeks at #1. I could listen to both tracks side by side and they're a lot similar. Even though "Sayonara Детка" is in russian and english and "Was Du Liebe Nennst" is in german.
Great chart overall, can't wait to see more of these. You've just gained a new follower of your charts!

Hey, thanks for your comment! The songs you mentioned seem to be enjoyed amongst a majority of people here on CrownNote, haha, but you'll be happy to know that most of them will be gaining in the next chart (this chart is dated to last week and my new one should be up by the time you're seeing this reply). I was actually aware that "Sayonara Detka" sampled "Was du Liebe nennst", as it's all over the comments of the official YouTube video, despite that I haven't actually heard it yet - which I probably should do, considering how much I enjoy this cover! Once again, thank you for your comment, I'll be sure to follow you back and check out your chart very shortly!

Yeah, I knew I'd like this chart of yours! :)
'Professor X' being #1 is okay, but what I really love is seeing 'God Is A Dancer' break into the Top 10, with 'Buss Down' right beneath it.
Are those two Russian songs at #5 & #6? If so, it's cool to see them there too, even if I haven't heard either of them! What do their titles translate into English as?
I really like all the Mabel entries here, but I can't say I'm a fan of either of the D-Block Europe debuts unfortunately.
Overall, I'm impressed! Nice chart!
