Crystal Top 40 (Week 45/2019)

Short chart analysis:

  • '2 Cups' holds down the top spot for a 4th consecutive week, with nothing in sight to take its crown, it looks very likely to claim a fifth one.
  • 'Така ни се пада' (That's what we get), the newest offering from Bulgarian singers Preslava and Galin, climbs five to land at #2, becoming the first top 3 hit for both artists.
  • At #3, we have a chart phenomenon - 'Сватба' (Wedding) by Slavi Trifonov enters the chart, in spite of the fact that the song is about 24 years old! Taken from the 1995 album 'Жълта книжка' (Yellow book - this is a document that signifies a mental disability), this becomes the countless entry for Slavi, and is not his only presence in today's chart - members of his band Ku-Ku Band Nevena Tsoneva and Godji also re-enter at #23 with their former chart-topper, 'Любов' (Love)
  • Krept & Konan released their album 'Revenge Is Sweet' last Friday, and it has impacted the chart with three singles - 'Tell Me' being the highest of them, entering at #9; 'G Love' also makes its way into the countdown at #17, and finally, 'I Spy', the duo's hit from a couple of months back, returns at #39.
  • Producer Bouncer makes a huge leap of 27 places to enter the top 20 for the first time and land at #13 with 'Time' - though the top 20 is already familiar to featured artists Nafe Smallz ('Greaze Mode', #3 peak) and Dirtbike LB (as part of D-Block Europe; currently in the chart with 'Nookie', 'Playing For Keeps', and 'Tell Me')
  • Finally, 'HIGHEST IN THE ROOM' makes a promising step forward to #31, after re-entering the chart last week, and 'This Is Real', newest single by Jax Jones and featured singer Ella Henderson, makes a debut at #37.

Hello Akyovbashiev!
Nice to see "Floss" have a huge gain, as well as the debut for "This Is Real"!
Great chart!

Hey Sergej! I'm glad you like the gain for "Floss" - not sure where it's going to go at the moment, but I'm still kinda enjoying it, so I guess we'll see - on the other hand, "This Is Real" is just getting started and will definitely continue to climb! Thanks a lot for your comment!

Hey akyovbashiev! Nice to see Krept and Konan enter your chart, I also love This is Real starting fresh in it! I also really like the climbs for Lose Control, Floss and Highest in the Room. Impressive chart again! ;)

Hey Coolocelot! Krept & Konan have always been hit or miss for me, and that doesn't change with their new release - for now, I'm mostly enjoying "Tell Me", while "G Love" will most likely drop a little bit, but we'll see. "This Is Real" has been growing on me a lot lately, so I'm sure it's only the beginning for it. Also glad you like the climbs for "Lose Control" and "Floss" - the former I've been listening to a lot but I'm afraid it might have peaked, while the latter I'm still unsure how I feel about, so only time will tell where it will progress. "Highest In the Room", on the other hand, has been a bit on-off for me - it dropped out after its debut, but now it's back, but I think it'll stick around for a while. Thanks a bunch for your comment! :D
